  • I've managed to somehow lose 2 pounds this week despite not having the best with feeling poorly and not eating as well as I'd hoped.
I'm going aiming to try and get back on track Monday as I've got some treating me to lunch tomorrow.

    Morning all xx

Monday morning weigh in revealed + 1 lb for me.

I'm OK with that as it's the price I pay for eating unplanned pizza and chips with DS on Saturday evening. I don't often get him to myself these days, so when he popped to see me while his DF was away on her hen do I bribed him to stay for tea....just the mention of pizza and he was hooked 😊. 🤔 Wonder who he takes after 🤣

Three weeks until the wedding. I've got my outfit. I'm booked in for a bra fitting next Mondsy. Every ounce off my boobs and hips will improve my silhouette...never had one of those before...not one I looked at anyway.

  • Hello all,

2lb loss for me this week thankfully , it's going to start getting a wee bit rough as my mum is going in for a major op tomorrow which means that I'm going to have a few stressed weeks at least, just gotta hope I can think of something else other than food when it gets rough.

+ 2 lbs for me. I am now 13.5 stones, which I suppose is a memorable weight to start with!

8 weeks on the blood sugar diet will take me to a couple of weeks before Christmas.

    Day 1....

I'm still one stone lighter than I was 2 months ago.
  • another 1lb loss for me, so very happy with that

Hope everyone is well and keeping warm.

So, after an appointment with the consultant's nurse and a telephone appointment with the nurse of the dietitian, I have come to the conclusion that they do not know their bottom from their elbow.

10 months after leaving hospital I have received the eating guide which I should have had on my release, not to mention I waited a week for a leaflet to arrive through the post, email and saving money for the skint NHS, mumble, grumble.  :#

The amount of stress I have felt after being told to eat XYZ by 2 nurses has caused a few tears before bedtime, and being told, "fruit won't do you any good" (yes eat 5 portions fruit / veg a day) but don't need to bother with extra, NO.1 on the eating plan for morning / afternoon snack is a ruddy piece of fruit.

I'm now eating / still eating a Slimming world-based diet, with a couple of exceptions, have yogurt on my breakfast fruit, which I didn't eat before, (I can change the yogurt for a protein pudding, which I can manage) and have a bedtime snack, so a milky drink and a cereal bar. I have alternatives to choose from to help with my dairy dislike.

No more fasting allowed, something a bit more substantial at lunch, so half a tin of veg soup is out and something to eat at bedtime.

Will see how I'm doing end of November now I'm putting in the couple of changes they want.

    Have a good week everyone.

New underwear always helps me, I always find the lift of a new bra makes my midriff look better. Up to you, but maybe put your outfit out so you can see it, if you need a little bit more motivation. X
