Course done this morning and just having my second coffee of the day. Wordle solved in 5, 2 lines in connections today. 3 surveys completed and a few emails deleted.Tried to polish the kitchen sink a bit, as there are already loads of water marks all over it and it's no longer the lovely shiny sink I made it yesterday.Need to make my lunch early as working this afternoon and I know it might be a bit tricky to find parking nearby so need to allow a bit more time than usual.Think I may strip and wash DS1's bedding as I noticed it looked a little grotty, and as he showered this morning, it's a good opportunity to get him into clean bedding tonight.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20177

Just cleared up another indoor dog pee. Wren still hasn't recovered from the long weekend of festivities. Why she feels the need to pee on carpet I don't know, because there's enough lino for her to aim and shoot. I'll run the WM for the dogpee towels because the forecast is good for tomorrow but after that - rain every dayVacuumed the top layer of the house, drafted my thank you cards and taught someone how to use a Panasonic breadmaker so I could give it to her. I've upgraded to a newer model from Gumtree. She's a vegan and loved the sundried tomato and green olive bread I made specially for her at the cream tea, and told me bread is her one failure she just can't get right. We put all the ingredients in the pan and I explained it step by step for her, and she took it home to add the water and set it going. She can use a vegan spread but I was stumped about the milk powder. Apparently there is an oatmilk powder available which some people use. Who knew?Spent a couple of hours drafting all the thanks yous, and then three hours hacking back all the overgrown / dead plants at the front of the house and the sundeck. That's needed doing for weeks so I'm really glad it's done now. I could spend longer out there but enough's enough for one day.Better is good enough.6

Oh dear it seems the e bay site, has rejected my item for sale as they say it meets their fettish guide lines and deleted it, it was a pair of on site contractor work boots (steel toe caps)!! OH has done nothing but laugh most of the day, and muttered to me about different type of fettishes!!Walking doneKitchen doneFloors doneIroning doneOff to do some rewordingBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Hello all. Wordle in 3, just the green line on connections.

I managed to do a little flying at the beginning of the week but not a lot else. Thankfully the house doesn't look too bad! It was DS1s birthday yesterday so lots of people over and then out for dinner. Tonight we have 6 x 16 year olds over for pizza and a sleepover in the tent!!! Brrr! Heaters will be at the ready! So today I need to put the tent up and get it prepped for them. I want to make it all look cosy with banners, balloons and chairs with blankets. Hope to get that done before doing the school run and tutoring because they will all be here when I get home!
I have done 2 x WM. Dog towels are on the line in the hope that they might dry. Have also walked the dog and been to Mr T to get supplies for tonight.
Then.....

Sweep and mop the floor

Managed to get all four Connection lines with a lucky guess early on eliminating some, and Wordle in five I think. I prefer the non-NYTimes wordle because it's the same words but you don't get booted off. I sometimes fiddle around with it all day and go back to it to start again when I'm really stumped. I hope Round's okay.Last night's dog towels are almost dry, along with the rest of the load that I did at the same time. Yard finished and two rhubarbs I bought a few weeks ago potted up at last. That's outside done for the winter, the first time I've ever managed to get everything I wanted to do prior to the cold wet windy weather setting in. There are loads of pots of old potting compost that need emptying but I simply don't have the energy to cart them around to the front and tip them out on the communal shrubbery. That may have to wait until the spring unless we get another dry spell mid-winter.Wrote one thank you card, but the rest will have to wait until tomorrow.Better is good enough.6

Morning all xx
HB - 👋 I'm here and I'm fine thank you. Setting off for work early to avoid the traffic snarls at the roadworks close to TT and losing some of my usual routine. 🙃
It's weeeeekeeeennnd woot woot. And of course I was up earlier than I would be on a work day 'cause that's what you do on a day off, isn't it 🤦♀️? I'm up, made my bed, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, completed Wordle in three, completed Connections with one life lost, and supped my first brew.
Brew 2 next. Then I'll be back with a plan...aka a Round of Saturdailies 😉. Four weeks to go til DS and his DF get married. It's the final countdown da da dah daa.
Have a good day.

Morning all.
After an unusually stressful day of paid stuff yesterday I went to bed at 8.30 and didn't get up until 7.45 this morning. So I'm on first cuppa of the day while DH is firstly at work then doing the big monthly shop on his way home. It's a hard life.
No real plans for today so once dailies and dog walk are done I might make it read a book day. The garden can wait till tomorrow.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.7
