Well I am pleased to say I am now on nsd#4. Today has been a normal Tuesday. Not much to report. I need to put a load of washing on tonight to dry on the airer over night.I’m grateful for good colleagues that I can laugh with, mild enough weather to not have to wear a coat and a warming evening meal planned to make tonight.Mortgage free wannabee 2022 #827

Well done on the NSD streak @beanielou, I haven't managed it yet.Shrewbie, tell your sister to look out for a short chubby oldish lady with very pink hair!Well done beanie 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉.Today I am grateful for pruning and then digging up 4 non-fruiting gooseberry bushes, for a good session with the shears and the front garden, for needle felting penguins with hats on, for Scrabble (oooh, autocorrect capitalized it!).NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!8 -
Well done on your NSSs @beanielou! I was heading for another one, then thought I'd best order DS3's birthday presents, or they might not arrive for next Tuesday! Did manage to get a couple slightly reduced though 😊
Up at 6.30 to wake DS3 up for work. Did yoga, stretches & Norwegian, then tried looking back to see if I could find how many bags of smokeless fuel I'd bought for last winter, so made myself run late! Managed to wolf my breakfast down whilst making my dinner, etc. A better day at work, it's surprising how many kids go on holiday before we break up (1/3 if our class!).
Watched TV when I got home & played with the cat. Thought about sewing, but made myself have a night off, so taught myself how to do french knots & sewed spots in half the toadstools on my cardigan.
Grateful for the Eboy sale not costing more in p&p than I'd charged, 3 days left before the hols, mastering french knotsUse it up, wear it out

I had an invitation to book a covid jab yesterday and they had appointments today so I took one. When I woke up the rain was bucketing down but it eased off to just spitting. I walked to the bus station and only had to wait a few minutes (I'd allowed time to catch the next bus and still be in time for my appointment). Bus route is subject to a diversion which missed out 3 or 4 stops so I was actually there with a whole hour to spare.
Went in Morries (facing the pharmacy) and did a shop for some essentials and a few bits I wanted, then crossed back to the pharmacy side. Still early but they had 3 chairs (I got the third) and it was warm and dry. Could have had both jabs but I've already booked in for the flu jab on Saturday (want to collect pretty red leaves from the bushes there). Jab done I went back to catch the bus but it sailed past before I'd taken a couple of steps. Went back to the SM and around the side where there's a bench that's covered by a small parapet (not sure that's what it's called) for the half hour wait. Ate a sandwich and had a drink from my bag (drink brought from home).
Smooth ride back to town (usual route because only one side of the road is blocked by the roadworks). Well 2/3 because the workmen are using 1/3 to move equipment back and forth. The driver didn't stop where I wanted. I held back on dinging the bell because last time the driver put me down at the wrong bus stop and the bank is covered in scaffolding and that and the sides of the bus shelter blocked me in. So got off near the church and walked back diagonally across the civic square. Went in the library for a sit down before I crossed the car park - ready to apologise because I had my shopping but the no food or drink must only be if people attempt to eat it in there. Picked 2 more large print books and came home.
Have eaten and done a few small tasks but I'm feeling wiped out (my stomach muscles hurt in addition to all the usual places) so have had a quiet afternoon.
Yesterday I cleaned the kitchen windowsill and put cleaning stuff on there. I've unearthed 2 bags with cleaning stuff and there were bits on top of the freezer and at the end of one of the worktops as well as stray bits. I need to do the same in the front room and will use that for some of the boxes of stuff I have (all in like with like). I need to find as many places to store stuff as possible so that I can move furniture around.
My new single mattress and mattress protector came yesterday. I cut up the large box they came in and squeezed it into the top of the paper bin before putting it out. Not going to et any SFD stars as I caved in and ordered a day bed which will arrive next Wednesday. I think I'm going to hold on until that arrives and I can put it together rather than making a temporary solution. That means I can get rid of the fridge freezer, tall bookcase and drop leaf table in one go.
I also put 10 things in my basket from the prime day sale but I have until midnight to send the order and I'll probably delete or move things to my wish list. No point getting drawer organisers for drawers I haven't got yet.
Grateful for shopping to graze on, bus timings mostly working out and having a plan (sort of)

One man on FaceBook also said to lay down a line of soap to deter spiders. Wonder if it because of something similar as you can apparently use conkers to make your own detergent.8

NSD #3 today. Was away over weekend so spent while I was away and then did food shopping yesterday. Have returned from Scotland with a stinking cold and am absolutely wiped at the moment so hoping to get a docs appt tomorrow if I can to get some blood tests (as the exhaustion has been going on pretty much since I returned from my holiday in August). Need to do some tidying and cleaning tomorrow if I can find some energy from somewhere as a family friend is buying my unwanted old treadmill from me, but it is surrounded by stuff, so need to clear a path to it and give it a clean up. Need to do some more washing and put some stuff away in my room so hoping for a productive, more energetic day tomorrow.
Thankful for spending the weekend with my friends, hugs and pictures with my favourite actor, UK Power Networks coming out to do a repair today, and using my time today to get some more crocheting done.6
