I am cleaning my house. It is exceptionally boring, but at least you can see the difference it makes, so it is also kind of rewarding. I am refusing to clean DS1 and DS2s bedrooms as they are now both over 20 and they can flippin' well do it themselves. Anyway, the top 2 floors are looking great, and I have hoovered down to the bottom step and have just made a sausage sandwich for lunch. Plan for this afternoon is to blitz the bathroom and loo, and move all the recycling into my car for a trip to the tip tomorrow. No spends is an added bonus. I had no plans to leave the house, except DH left some papers at home so had to take them to him - dressed for scrubbing the house. Oh dear! Nobody saw me, I was weaving my invisibility spell. Anyway, progress is being made -every week I get a little bit further, a little bit quicker. One day I will get the whole house clean in one day.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

I can no longer get the entire house cleaned in one day @f0xh0les but I have done the top floor and most of the middle one - the exception being the room that OH uses to keep all his 'collections'. He can do that himself. Also did the grocery shopping for another week.I still have a pie to make for dinner and a pile of ironing, the latter of which might have to wait till tomorrow.Rainy and dreary here, so ideal for indoor jobs!7

I don't have a spare room and OH "collections" have colonised part of the kitchen, 6 drawers in the living room and a whole cupboard in the landing. I don't even want to talk about the garage, I have barely space for the luggage and the Christmas decorations, all the rest is taken!Debt free journey started 30/08/2023:

Did yoga first thing, which I've not done for weeks! Heard the workers bus beep their horn for DS3, but he'd stayed at his GF's last night, so had to thrust my feet into some wellies, grab a coat, & run out across the main road in my PJ's!! Nothing like a minibus half full of builders looking at you like you've been dragged through a hedge 🤣
A full on day at work, but managed to stay patient & not think bad thoughts about my co worker.
Spent the evening sewing. I've sold one of the dresses I was flipping on Eboy, got watchers on the other 2.
Grateful for DS1 still feeling positive, looking after myself by doing yoga & a few exercises this morning, having all my boys back home again
