Ok here goes.

First of all hi everyone my first post so bare with me.

I parked in a carpark that I park in most weeks to use the swimming center with my kids.
The machine is coins only and my coins aren't working. At this point my child (who has severe ADHD) is kicking off. I go into the swimming center and the lady behind the counter says "don't worry as you're using the pool you wont need a ticket....

I get a PCN from Llanwroc Parking services.

I ignore it and receive a whatever its called before I'm given a CCJ. i defend the claim and follow the steps on here claiming my defense as the lady told me I wont need a ticket and there was no electronic way of paying only coins.

My mediation is tomorrow and they sent me this email with pictures tonight. (ill post this below) seems a familiar name has sent it as this name has come up on here before. My question is how can they use this as evidence as you can see the signs have been pictured on what looks like a bed! i know that they are no longer looking after that carpark as I asked their client to remove the PCN, they tried and Llanwroc never got back to them, and the client told me they have a new management company now.

Any advice for my mediation meeting tomorrow is very much appreciated..

Thanks

D

  • You literally need to join the call, offer £0, the PPC will make an offer (all via the mediator), you can decline their offer and the call can end.
There is nothing really to do other than see this off at in court, you won't be 'given' a CCJ unless you lose at the court stage, nothing to worry about, follow the sound advice on this board from others going through the mediator stage (and any subsequent court proceedings - if it gets that far) and you'll be fine.
  • So do you think I should stick with my original defense or start to say where were the signs? as they are clearly not taken from the site.
I mean once it does go to court and I file a proper defense.
  • You don't need to stick to anything. Just keep saying £0 until the call ends.

It is already 'at court' and you have already filed a Defence.

Just tell the mediation £0 offer end of .
You can only log one defence
That person at Gladstones isn't very bright..had an email from her saying no evidence had been logged with the defence to substantiate a claim
Told her she didn't know how claims worked and that it wasn't a section 8 claim !

Definitely not, but perhaps near the hearing date they might, typically around the WS bundle deadline
