Its usually 33 days from the issue date listed on the claim form, so 33 days after the 28th August

Your thread title is incorrect, there is NO CCJ at the moment, just a Court claim

Adapt the defence template by coupon mad

With a Claim Issue Date of 28th August, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 30th September 2024 to file a Defence.

That's less than one week away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.

    Absolutely right.
My fingers lost their way a little when I was distracted.
    Post above now corrected. Thanks.

Just use the Template Defence as you see in all the other DCB Legal / Euro Car Parks claims at the moment.

They are litigating a huge batch. We have 2 or 3 exact match threads like yours each day, so go back and scroll through the forum to read a good half dozen or more. Learn how people worded their paragraph 3. Copy!

Very easy to see these claims off. No hearing needed. DCB Legal will discontinue in 2025.

Did Citizens Advice or a debt charity give you that misinformation?

Wait for the latter, but keep referring to the 12 steps in the defence template thread too

MCOL can be used to check the claim history, but that is all you should do on there , it will show that the defence has been logged, plus sent to the claimant, plus it will show when your N180 has been posted

Please change your thread title by editing the first post, change CCJ to ECP
