New Balance Transfer Application Query

Hi,
I'm looking at getting a 0% balance transfer card with zero fees for 13 months. I don't technically need it until my 0% credit card deal runs out, which is on 26/11/24.
If I apply for the balance transfer card now and don't transfer the funds until 24/11/24, does the 13 month promotional period start then, or does it start when I apply? I know I have 3 months to make the transfer in order to activate the 0% deal.
Should I wait until closer to 24/11/24 and apply for whatever 0% deal I can get then? I specifically want a deal with zero fees. I'm not too fussed about how short or long the period is for.
Thanks in advance.

The Promotional period will start the day you make the transfer as long as you make the transfer within the window they give you i.e. 30/60/90 days.
0% fees are not easy to get - how much of a fee would 3/4/5% be for you?0 -

I'm about to apply for the NatWest 0% balance transfer card and my understanding was the 13 months started the day you get accepted.Debt Free: 01/01/20201

From the T&Cs of my RBS 0% balance transfer card:Balance Transfers applied to the account in the first 3 months (this rate applies until 13 months from account opening)
Which I expect is normal. I actually made 2-3 transfers during the first 3 months.

Some providers its the date the card opened; others it's the date of the transferI consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?1 -
The only 13 month BT cards with 0% fees I can find are the Natwest Group ones (Natwest, RBS, Ulster Bank). With all of these, the 13 month period starts from account opening.Again, confirmation of which bank from the OP would be helpful.1

Hi. Apologies, I should have mentioned the provider! It is NatWest. Thanks for the replies so far.0
