This week finds me in the Lake District for a few days doing a craft break . Always enjoy the time with the ladies in the group . In a week I will be off to Tenerife for a week in the sun , can’t wait for that .I am being mindful of my spending this week , there is a very good charity shop here where I am , but I don’t need anything clothes wise .More computer training with work , I had homework, I remembered some but not all .Most of my Christmas shopping is done I am glad to say . My birthday is in December so I try to have it all done early . I am looking to offload 4 more people off my present list next year and just keep it to immediate family . I hardly see these family members and rarely hear from them .My DGD was 8 yesterday. She had her ears pierced and a trip to the circus , very happy she was .Nearly time to meet up with friends so better drink my Mr C coffee and get on my way .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.0

Sounds very nice indeed a craft break followed by a week in Tenerife 🙂
I have a very small Christmas present list. I don’t buy for anyone I rarely see or hear from, just immediate family now.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Craft break was fun , but then got caught up in a very serious accident on the M6 . Feeling very lucky that I got home ok , the poor lorry driver passed away .
A very busy week last week , resulting in packing last minute for Tenerife . Been here since Thursday , and feel relaxed now . Have come all inclusive for the first time ever . The weather is lovely 26C with a lovely breeze . Spending time walking and catching up on reading . In my fave resort as it is quiet . Don’t think I will be spending much money.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1 -

Well the sunshine was lovely but all good things come to an end. Looking forward to Christmas now , ours is very low key compared to some . My birthday is at the weekend so Christmas has always been exciting for me .Life is a little crazy this week, with Carol Concerts, Christmas meals, birthday meals and a lovely light show at RHS .The DGC helped me put up the Xmas tree a yearly tradition which I love , my tree is not coordinated in anyway 😂.Money is going well at the minute , we still haven't settled our pay claim at work so lots of back pay early next year hopefully.Today I am having a new smart meter fitted as Octopus have finally found out mine is faulty. I hope this one works when it is installed . If not then escalation to the Ombudsman will happen as Octopus have been ok since the manager lady got involved but they are so slow sometimes.I have watched Black Doves on Netflix this last week and really enjoyed it, despite all the blood and shooting.Anyways need to get dressed and the meter cupboard needs clearing for the engineer.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.0

Our Christmas is low key too. I prefer the build up to the day itself. Good news about the smart meter finally getting sorted.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Sadly no smart meter today, fitter sickness , can't be helped. The saga rumbles on for another month .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.0
