  • Just back from my trip , we only had an about 30 mins of rain the whole weekend. Have walked many miles , went to a bookshop in a seaside town yesterday , the owner said he had 130.000 books roughly. Had a coffee in a lovely hotel on the seashore looking out over the bay.
I am getting ready for the week ahead now , prepping food for office work day tomorrow, washing on. Bought some lamb and mint burgers from a village butcher so having one for dinner later with some salad.
Monday sure comes round fast .

  • I have had to let my negative friend know that I couldn't carry on with the negativity and the constant texts . She took it very well really and acknowledged that she was negative . We are having time out 🤷🏻‍♀️. It has made me feel as though I am a bad person , but my other friends have assured me that I am a very positive character. I am really not sure how it will all pan out , we have been friends for 44 years but we have no interests in common anymore .
I posted a trust pilot review on Octopus energy last night and I got an email from a member of the executive team , whose reply was actually very good , not quite correct but better than the last few . However they ended the email with love and power , not quite sure what to make of that .
Was going to switch my bank account but my savings products with my bank now seem to make it not a good idea . The interest I get monthly goes into my current account and the advisor on the phone told me I can't change the account number . I will have to wait until the investments to mature .
Have been to M@S this morning and got a few bargains , which were all good buys.

I have been told by my son that we are going to somewhere lovely Chatsworth House for their Christmas event , I have wanted to go for many years but never got there , I am looking forward to this.

Back in school tomorrow for reading time . Need to go and make some lunch now I am rather hungry.

Oh the Chatsworth House Christmas event is gorgeous!  I went there some years ago. You'll really enjoy it. The grounds are fabulous too. 😀
