Sorry to read about your dad, bless him he tries so hard to be independent, must be frustrating for him. Caring is hard I won’t lie. Take any help offered and ask people to help or they won’t. I don’t get any help at all with Mr SA, I’ve asked but been refused which annoys me greatly but it is what it is unfortunately 😞 Good that SIL can help so let her ease the stress.

Little update, Dad has recovered from his fall , caused more damage to his back but it's manageable. The bad news is blood tests revealed that he is probably got some kind of cancer but where it is no one knows. We are awaiting appointments looking for that , he already lives with prostate cancer so they are starting there. Lots of issues I have been sorting out are gradually getting sorted , usually to be replaced by another. 😂
I managed to get away with DGC and a grand time was had , much needed by all. I have spent sometime with them every week so far . My Dad realises I can't be there everyday and he copes well , I don't know about winter though.
Last week I got my wedding outfit for my son's wedding it feels very comfortable to wear and didn't cost the earth. Have spent time this week organising finances as some saving accounts had matured . Hoping to do a new budget now our pay rise is in our salaries . The cleaner has been a god send so far maybe not up to my normal standard but adequate enough for the time being.
Off to a big garden centre with a friend to tomorrow who has been an immense help since my mum passed away. You really find out who your friends are at certain times in your life and this last few months has been a such time. Anyway hoping for cooler weather over the weekend so can do some gardening at my Dad's .

Bad news from my sister in law this morning her dad pssed away , and my best friend is flying home today as her mum is seriously ill in hospital. I feel like this year is one I want to forget. The news about SIL dad and my dad's best friend passing away in Greece last week has really affected Dad . I'm off to see him soon to see if I can get him out and give him something else to think about.
Sorry if all this is morbid but I keep this as a diary of events as well as a money diary. I am not feeling 100% myself as I have caught a cold but have to keep going .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.5 -

I’m sorry to hear you’ve had all this bad news. Things like this always seem to come in batches unfortunately. Look after yourself amongst all this.
