In today's post I got a letter from Civil Enforcement - Without Prejudice Save as to Costs

I know I can ignore this.

Today marks 14 days before my court date.

I have had nothing from CEL, no emails containing N279 and no witness statement from them either.

I shall be sending mine today to the courts and to them.

I also called the court to see if the court fee had been paid, unfortunately they could not confirm if it had been paid as this can take up to 6 weeks to show. I was advised to call back 24 hours before my court date.

PLEASE tell the full story of this saga to the CJC this week.  There is a sustained & complete abuse of the court system by PPCs churning copy & paste generic and inflated/enhanced claims out (with no 'case merit' or address check) and adding fake damages/costs.

You can only attach a Word document to submit evidence but you can put images on a Doc. Tell your story and the fact that CEL haven't even bothered with a WS now.

The main point to make is that the CJC and MoJ MUST step in and stop parking firms from ruining good people's lives and peace of mind, putting their credit rating at potential risk.

Ask why court time is being so much wasted on propping up 'scam' (almost always struck out, discontinued or lost by the Claimants) claims from PPCs, and supporting the Claimant by trying to scare people into offering money at Mediation stage, totally free to Claimants and unwanted pressure for Defendants.

Enquiry closes on Friday so this is urgent.

This WILL make a difference.

12 days and counting before I'm due in court. I've never been to court before so I will go on anyway just to see what happens.

No WS from them should mean they've discontinued. Maybe they've told the court and not you.

I'd phone the court early next week to ask if they have a WS or Discontinuance from CEL and is the hearing going ahead?

Today I called the court. After being on hold for 1 hr 28 minutes, it looks like I will be going to court in 7 days.

I have still had nothing from CEL.

Can't wait for my day in court now.

I'd draft a costs assessment and take it with you on the day to hand in to to the usher for forwarding to the judge if the hearing and case turn out to be discontinued.
