Can anyone confirm for me, can you get up to £125 in total over 5 months or is it up to £125 EACH month for 5 months? (If say you spend 3k each month.)

The promotional 5% is across the first 5 months so if you spend £2,500 on day 1 you've basically earned all the promo cash back you'll get (as long as you go on to spend another £500 over the remaining 364 days).
I believe that once you've hit the maximum promo rate then other spending in the promo period will accrue cash back at the standard rate1 -
Which Amex rewards card - there is more than one ?We've had the basic one for a few years but I'd need to refresh my memory on the specifics - can't think any Amex card will pay £125 monthly x 5 though.0

This is a very useful and insightful chart comparing cashback and rewards between various Amex cards.

This does not include the promotional introductory rate, but good for general comparison if you know your likely annual spend.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Credit Cards, Savings & investments, and Budgeting & Bank Accounts boards.
