Just booked the Zoe in for her second year main dealer service - £159* which I presume is just to replace the cabin filter, plug it into the mainframe and stamp the book.

    *includes “free” health check
When do you reckon on it needing a new battery?
And how much might that cost?
Every four years according to the schedule - £180 from the main dealer’s menu pricing but I can probably do it cheaper online.

Yes, I know what you’re going to say “wow, it’s a serviceable item unlike ICEs that don’t require a replacement and your last one lasted 15 years” - you have to remember that they are much smaller in EVs and hybrids and have a very different set of demands on them.
That wasn't the battery I meant.
Well then nothing because there is an 8 year warranty on the traction battery and we don’t keep cars that long 🤷
Thanks for clearing that up. Seems like it's a viable choice then.
