    You don't actually need £2k to do the HSBC one. You can just keep recycling a smaller amount. Such as £100 in and out 20 times.

    Are First Direct picky in who they accept?

    No more picky than most other banks I think. It's all done via the app. They check your information against various credit reference agencies, and you will probably have to scan a passport or driving licence and take a selfie. Computer will then say yes or no.

    I applied for for first direct account as clicked on overdraft £500 have that on all my accounts just for emergencies


    they said we will be touch soon!


    Never been in debt or any CCJ’s overdrafts used every now and then but always within limit and for a few days!


    I got these today very good credit score no missed payments ccjs debt etc hopefully be accepted soon
