Changing Dollars to Pounds on Virtual Credit Card.

Hello,
I've got a virtual credit card, a Visa card from Tremendous, with US dollars on it.
Is there a way I can convert this currency into UK pounds so that I can spend it here?
Thanks.

You can buy something with USD, for example accomodation - hotels etc?

There is a website called Eneba where you can change currency and buy Giftcard for UK like Amazon, Tesco etc.

A credit card with dollars on it sounds like a contradiction in terms.  More likely to be a gift card or prepayment card.
    Their AI assistant says:-
    • Your card's balance is stored in USD and automatically converted to your local currency when you make a transaction.
    • Your card can be used in-store only if the merchant is able to manually enter your card information.

Agree sounds line a "gift" card.  Can you use it to buy something on-line?  Amazon credit would be one option, just aim to max out the balance.

  • Yes, sorry, it is a gift card with pre-paid credit on it.

You don't need to convert, it is done by the card (any card) when used to purchase in non-card currency.
    Evolution, not revolution
  • The virtual card's website should show you the terms and conditions of use.  Foreign country/currency use may be blocked even though it is a Visa/Mastercard.
