today i recieved my creditcard from lloyds mastercard
as i look at the card the bank logo top right of card, type of card wrote down the side
flip it over and all the writing is upside down, inc black mgnetic strip at bottom of the card, on my lloyds current its at the top and writing correct way up
is this the new way they are producing them or is this a 1 off

They have a few different designs like:

My card is the cashback credit card, in landscape it is the same as you describe - it looks a bit like this but a lighter green and the horse is embossed. Mine has the mastercard logo bottom right rather than visa and says Cashback Credit at the top without the 3 raised dots.
If I flip it over still in landscape the text is all the right way up, mine expires mid next year so maybe will have a new card design then

I assume you're flipping it horizontally. Flip it over vertically instead of horizontally and it should all remain the right way up.
