But that's the top of the ladder in this case. You can't get higher than the topstudentphil wrote: »i DON'T KNOW where they should go, but it is a bit like climbing the ladder and pulling it after you.

Of course I do!!! Q knows everything.
Purple is because Jimi Hendrix sang about it (Purple Haze)
And cos there was a Deep Purple band.
And cos IT IS MY FAVE COLOUR! :j :j

and Prince sang abour rain being purple and Sheb Wooley sang about a Purple headed people eater. This country is called Great Britain. It would be called Amazing Britain if it wasn't for people like you pulling the average down0 -

See TM? Plenty of purple around.
But never on phil's face, by the sound of him. I don't think he can ever be embarrassed enough. :rotfl: Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -

You get to the top of the ladder and there is nowhere to go. So you stay there. What else do you expect them to do you tit?
Christ on a bike. Don't forget to thank your mother for me. It's nice that she took the time to instill such stupidity in her son.
I accept what you say as true. If I am honest it is no career nor hardly a job to work pt. So I am thinking hard about if I should go and qualify as a full librarian to increase my chances or if I should go and find another sector where I can have a decent career.:beer:0 -
I thought some of you might like to know what song I'm listening to:
This is hardcore, by Pulp
This is the eye of the storm.
It's what men in stained raincoats pay for but in here it is pure.
Yeah. This is the end of the line.
I've seen the storyline played out so many times before.0 -
Purple - my fave colour too :j
Oooooh - my lovely neighbour is filling the hole in the road right outside my drive, with spare stones (I live on a private unmade road) What a nice man. I'd only been looking at it 30 minutes ago and wondering what I was going to do about it. That'll make it better in the short term.
redux - yep - it's "hardcore" my neighbour is using :rotfl:0 -

this varies from sector to sector though.
seniority comes with age, experience and qualification.( or if you are friends with those higher up:rotfl:
LLL
why are library assistants called - paraprofessionals?
because it takes two of them to do one librarians job!!
There doesn't seem that sort of structure where I work but I do think with a library qualification my chances would be better.:beer:0 -
