My apologies I had read the first 12 steps but was focusing more on what I need my defence to be, I will be sure to print, sign and send in as a .pdf.
No need to "print" any thing at all. You can sign by simply typing your name where it says "Signature" and type the date, save the whole document as a pdf and simply attach it to the email that you are going to send.

No trees or electrons need to be wasted for these things.
  • Does the defence wording seem ok, as in will it be enough do we think?

  • Thank you for all your advice and those that look after this site regularly, it is a big help to people like me :)

I have submitted my defence and received a response to say it's been received - Thank you for emailing the Claim Responses Team in the Civil National Business Centre. Please expect a response to your enquiry in 10 days.

Im guessing queationnaire next, mediation, then hopefully the end of this nonsense.
  • When looking on the MCOL website, should I see an update in the Claim History page? I emailed my defence on the 11th Sept and received acknowledgement.

  • Ok thanks Coupon-mad, I just wanted to make sure.
  • Finally had a response from dcb legal after filing my defence, it is a letter that states having reviewed my defence the client intends to proceed with the claim.

They have sent me a 'Directions questionnaire (small claims track), From the Newbies thread it looks like my next step is to keep checking the MCOL website to see when an N180 Directions Questionnaire form appears so I can download it and fill it out? Or will this get emailed to me?

You were expecting that weren't you?

Item 7 on that checklist you were following when you filed a Defence says...

Items 8, 9 and 10 on that list might be worth another read too.
