well done on finding the fiver too. I litter pick locally and there’s one girl who always finds money. It goes in the ‘wages’ purse and pays for coffees when we’ve finished 😂
I second Metallica if i could only listen to 1 band for the rest of my life. I first saw them when I was 14 and I was recently horrified to realise that in September that will be 40 years ago 😮. I was hoping to get tickets to see them at the gig with Sabbath in the summer but it wasn’t to be ☹️I tried to get tickets for the Sabbath gig but didn’t expect to so wasn’t too disappointed.I am currently listening to my latest CD purchase which arrived in the post today.Start Date 02-09-2024CC1 £569

Well, the title was apt as the diary was so boring I stopped posting.
Loan is ticking over but I managed to get the credit card down to 200. I have to get this down to zero by 23rd October so I’m confident I can do this. I went on a short and cheap holiday and underspent so threw the money I brought back at the card - which is a change for me - before lockdown I would have spent it.Start Date 02-09-2024CC1 £569

Rather than boring, I'd call it a factual record of your debt free progress and you took a break from your diary rather than stopped posting. You're making good progess - good luck.1

Good choice 👍 although they might be around for a few more years there might not be many more chances to see them give a full on performance.Start Date 02-09-2024CC1 £569

I find it interesting how some bands age like a good wine and some less so!
Some of the bands I've seen like Maiden/ AC/DC have been spectacular even in their older years. Some perhaps less so and I wouldn't rush back to see prefering to remember them in their best years (sorry Axl I'm looking at you).
Does make me wonder if those that have made it well.into their "older" years are the ones who maybe cleaned up the rock n roll lifestyle slightly earlier than others.
It's no wonder I'm broke ......LBM Oct 24
