Pay day on Wednesday. It was a bumper one (by my standards) as I received back pay and a small bonus. I tried not to look at my deductions but I did and felt depressed.

£600 into the EF so I feel a bit better about that and £55 into my credit card fund.

  • I like that many I find it hard to narrow it down to a few favourites. If I could only listen to one band for the rest of my life it would have to be Metallica, but I would say my favourite genre is death metal so not sure how familiar you are with that sort of stuff?

Started reading to support the journey. Sticking around for the absolute wisdom that is in this post.
  • Thanks for supporting the journey and more importantly for sticking around for the wisdom.

My preference is for music heavier than Metallica, but I can get pretty much everything I need from the first four albums.

Nothing to report on the debt front.

  • Couple of days until pay day but as I don’t need anything before then, I’ve made an overpayment on my mortgage. I want to make three month’s worth of overpayments next year.

I’ve seen a bike I like in the sale - £2,300 down from 4,000 - 0% finance is available so I’m severely tempted.

I have two presents left to buy which will be two gift cards for the value of £20 so I’ll get them on Sunday.

I’ve seen a few people mention Caleb Hammer on here. I did start watching him but I’ve now got to the point where the OTT reactions to everything and the high pitched screaming are becoming unbearable so think I will stop watching.
