Hi I recently purchased a reverse treadmill and hadn't seen the small print . This states any faults damage etc should be notified within 24 hour's of delivery.
At the time there was a delay in delivery and I had started my nightshifts so never had time to unwrap and assemble especially after a 12 hour night shift. I contacted on the Saturday and delivery was on the Thursday.

Refund policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened and unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at support@slantboard.co.uk. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. We do not offer pre-paid returns labels. All return postage costs are assumed by the customer and are non-refundable.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can investigate the issue and make it right. Claims for damage or missing pieces will not be entertained if they are not received within 24 hours of delivery.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalised items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items sold at a discount or as part of a special offer, or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund to your account.

Delivery was 29th August 2024
I contacted the company 31st August.0 -
You can challenge these terms because they conflict with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If you need to return/repair/replace anything then refer to your rights under the law. Your legal rights are not eroded by the retailer's terms3

Their terms are terrible, there is no time limit (other than 6 years to go to court) for making a claim under your consumer rights because the goods do not conform to the contract (i.e have an issue).
Them being difficult because you contacted them the 2nd day after delivery is laughable.
Personally I'd be looking to exercise the short term right to reject for a full refund with the return at their expense and buy from somewhere else.In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces5 -
So what's wrong with it?1

Had a email they are asking for photos and video etc then they will decide if I can send it back.
You also have to follow their instructions and pay expenses yourself to send back.
To be honest if I can get a refund then I'm happy but will keep you informed on the ongoing issues.0 -
Seems a real art to this.... Even watching the video looks dangerous...

I don't think you've said it's damaged or have I misunderstood?
I think reverse treadmills are inherently unsafe unless you are familiar with them. There's no reason not to follow @the_lunatic_is_in_my_head advice and return for a full refund at their expense. I'd suggest taking your money to a local store who can advise you you on suitable equipment and you can try it first.
