Is there something structurally wrong with the house maybe, subsidence or similar?0

The estate agents will receive a tidy sum for selling your house, so if you aren’t satisfied with the photographs they need to redo them. I would also insist to your husband that th e house needs to be marketed by a different estate agent. The first have not succeeded in selling it.
Good luck.1 -

Hi we have had more viewings, one was coming back for second viewing but then found a house closer to where they live. No feedback and no offers. Price was reduced. Been trying to present the house the best I canMarried 09/09/090

It may be worth cutting your losses, winding up the deal with that estate agent and take it off the market. Then find a new estate agent to remarket it in the spring.

Good luck.
What an odd take. I understand your bias towards house pricing, but I don't see anything having changed in that regard.
How much do you need house prices to drop to break even now? 80%?

I was very recently a first time buyer. There were a couple of houses for sale that I thought ticked the right boxes for me (right number and size of bedrooms, location, drive etc) but had been on the market for 18 months plus. As a very wary FTB I assumed there must be something wrong with them and did not arrange viewings. Also, the fact the pictures of the gardens were taken in the middle of the summer and I was looking in the middle of winter seemed like no-one had bothered to update pictures. Made me wonder if they weren't really for sale or if they were unmortgagable.
Sorry, I know my attitude was probably wrong but there might be other FTBs with similar concerns.Debt Free: 01/01/2020
