Landal Belvedere go into administration

I imagine another reason will be the level of detail needed for their publicly filed accounts. A third would be that only one director is needed, which could be relevant if one of the current pair wants out.jimjames said:
plc in the name means nothing these days, it's still possible to be a private company despite the designation of PLC. The main difference is share capital and that could be the reason - you need at least £50k for a plc but only £1 for a Ltd. So not really any change in status, just a change in name.axolotl56 said:Just for information - Belvedere Leisure Resorts plc is now a private company called Belvedere Leisure Resorts Limited.
Some of the entities related to London Capital & Finance went through multiple name changes where different companies had the same name at different times which makes tracing them very hard.

It strikes me as rather obvious that the TITLE of this thread is not exactly accurate. It should surely say "Apple Invest goes into Administration"? Though clearly investors of Landal Belvedere and Landal Barnsoul (maybe others) who are not getting interest, or maybe capital sums returned, are the ones more directly affected by Apple's problems.0

Does anyone have any info on this Looks like it is a subsidiary of Belvedere Leisure Resorts Limited. Invest in a holiday lodge - generate 8% income for up to fie years. Not regulated by FCA - does this ring any bells?1

These type of properties are NOT investments. You are unlikely to make any net return, after depreciation is taken into account.
Not just this park, but across the board.
Tread VERY carefully.
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)2 -
Run Forrest Run !
Alternatively, spend a couple of hours reading reviews and doing research.
It certainly rings warning bells for me.0 -

1. If we take FTSE 100 dividend yield as our reference.
FTSE 100 = 3.84%, You mentioned 8% annual yield
Risk Ratio = 8/3.84 = 2.08 ( 2 & above to me means a Very High Risk Investment)

4. When an AI chatbot was asked the following question:Any links between Eglinton Park Luxury Holiday Homes and Belvedere Leisure Resorts Limited:
Its end remark was:
Given these significant overlaps in leadership, business model, partnerships, and project focus, it appears that Eglinton Park Luxury Holiday Homes and Belvedere Leisure Resorts Limited are either the same company operating under different names or very closely related entities.1 -
Yes to be clear I don't think the OP is considering making an investment into this "opportunity"!2

Yes, it is part of the same web of companies, link with BLR is clear from the filing history: https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/14716930/filing-historyaxolotl56 said:Does anyone have any info on this Looks like it is a subsidiary of Belvedere Leisure Resorts Limited. I'm going to request the two threads are merged. Lots of companies have been created to market the various schemes, and those unfortunate enough to have parted with money for any of them will benefit from a centralised discussion.ColdIron said:Might be worth a read before parting with your cashEdit: I see you are familiar with that thread having posted over a dozen times on it
