Can I be included please? I’ve had a massive change in circumstances with my mother (who I live with together with one of my brothers) very suddenly passing away last weekend. I need to be super careful with money as I get used to my new outgoings, especially as I have a pre booked night out next week and a couple of days away at the end of the month. Decluttering should be covered as my brothers seem keen to start clearing some unwanted/unneeded bits out, and self care will be very much required with everything going on.

@Betharooni - So sorry to hear about your mother. Take it slow and easy making major changes as you readjust to a new life. I cared for my mother and it was a major change in my life to suddenly be living alone. Even though your brother is there also, don't let him push you along too fast until you know what you really want. Of course, my life today is totally different from what I thought it would be.

But how we live our story - fill in the details, the conversations, inner dialogue - is up to us.

Can I please join September. Condolences Betharooni.  
I am in a transitional phase:
- coming to the end of trauma/ptsd therapy
- My disabled son, who I have cared for have moved out and the first time I will go and visit is in 2 weeks. He is now trying to live independently.
- I am back to work after a long illness in the spring.
- I am applying to jobs to transition out of teaching and hoping to get a full time job. 
- I am doing some art workshops and selling pieces so that is going really well.

My savings are depleted and I have to pay:
- Pay vet bill for my dog.
- For a new dishwasher, as I think pump is gone.
- For a trip to see my mum in November
- Graduation and lunch and gift this month.
- And I'm on a part time salary that basically pays for my bills, and nothing else.

First actions:
Have quit gym.
Not signed up for swimming or a run that all together would cost £80
Will book a £6 lake swim this afternoon, as that will be my main social for this weekend. 
Am doing surveys for pocket money.
Need to write invoices - so I can get paid. 
Will pay £300/£700 this month for vet bill. 
This week my allocation will be £30-50 for food and £30 to top up car.

Gym is paid for until the 26th
I only need the car to go the Graduation and my studio

That is an outline - I am looking forwards to a busy and active month, I hope everybody comes off to a good start to September today.
