Fantastic idea.
One water filter for now but I'll try again for various birthdays.
Thanks0 -
Excellent idea, Christmas is getting too commercial !
Just a thought but wouldn't it be nice say for next year that the MSE charity fund Plant a Forest or donate one of the bigger gifts.0 -
Finish Rich that's a wonderful idea, if we all go together we should be able to afford something that'll make the life of a whole village easier!Three years, six months, three weeks, 13 hours, 48 minutes and 30 seconds. 26011 cigarettes not smoked, saving $11,704.80. Life saved: 12 weeks, 6 days, 7 hours, 35 minutes.0

I agree Finish rich,
Most of us have saved quite a bit as a direct result of this website........wouldn't it be fantastic, if we had the opportunity to be able to give something like this back.
And if we were to do it together, we could make a very big impact on a community, who, unlike us, will never get the opportunity to go bargain hunting

Would it go against the ethos of this site, or be an administrative nightmare, to set up something where grateful moneysavers could voluntarily donate a small amount?
I know in the last couple of months, due to information obtained directly from MSE, I have saved in the region of £400.00.
I am very grateful to MSE for this, and would love the opportunity to give a little bit back.
Just imagine what we could buy next Christmas, if we collectively had the opportunity (voluntarily of course) to donate a small amount to show our appreciation, each time we saved some money.
Just a thought,

Bump ;D
Have tried V hard to get Hubby to buy his Brother a Loo for X'mas, but have failed miserably.
Might get it anywayI KNOW his Brother would find it funny and it's a fantastic opportunity to really help someone.
Have mostly bought all other presents for my family, but will definately consider this for Birthdays.

I sent this to my daughter and she was really impressed. So was her boyfriend who wants to send all his cards this way so I'm about to send him the link!
