    How's this?

    "Dear Sirs,

I am writing to inform you that the address which you currently hold, <insert UK address here>, is no longer an address with which I can be reached.

I now reside at the following address: <insert foreign address here> and will be living in <foreign country> for the foreseeable future. This means that I am outside the jurisdiction of the English court.

Therefore, you must immediately communicate this to your clients and erase the old address, mentioned above, as that address may no longer be used for a court claim.

If you fail to return the file to your clients and close the case, I will report Moorside Legal and its Principal Solicitors, Rebecca Horton-Grainger and Ibrar Ahmad, to the SRA for their apparent failures to meet professional standards.

    Yours faithfully,
    <name>"

Should I attach my proof of work to this email, or wait for them to request it?

If so, I was thinking I'd attach just the first page of my offer letter contract for my job abroad, with all details (e.g. company name, start date, compensation etc.) redacted other than my name - will that be acceptable?

Don't play games. Do not 'wait and see what they say'. Absolutely unsafe.

What they'll do if there is any doubt, is file a court claim  and ask questions later, because without ID/proof they'll assume you are lying, especially given - only weeks ago - you confirmed your UK address as the only address for service.

You MUST PROVE NOW that you are working there, so add some extra words about what evidence you are attaching.

Okay will do, thanks. And in terms of the evidence, will what I mentioned above suffice? I.e. my job offer with information redacted other than my name

Maybe partially redacted VISA too as long as it doesn't have a start date too late.

I think show it as unequivocal evidence.

My visa has the following fields:
    ID number
    File number
    Place of issue
    Passport no
    Name
    Profession
    Employer
    Issue date
    Expiry date
    My portrait shot

I was thinking of redacting all information other than my name, issue date, and expiry date.

However, I don't want them to argue it's insufficient evidence because they can't see my visa ID number or something and then issue the court claim.

Before I send this off, could someone please advise whether they think that version of my visa (i.e. all info redacted except name, issue date, and expiry date) will be sufficient?

I would certainly leave most data including the VISA ID number showing. Won't affect you (they can't and won't do anything with it).

Oh stop worrying just send the whole thing
No need to redact anything.  These staff don't give two hoots. What on earth do you think they are going to do with. No matter what we think of them are a legal firm and have really really strict data controls
Send the whole thing and stop scrabbling around in the mud over it
