It's not a huge variation but I can't understand why they would be different if the data is pulled from the same source, or is it just rounding errors or something?
Also I have been with them for 7 weeks now and I haven't had my first bill, is that common?
On the plus side by shifting washing and dishwasher etc... to cheap 5p rate I'm averaging around 15p a unit if they bill me correctly lol.
Thanks in advance
2. That may be the cause of you not receiving a bill. They normally bill at the beginning of the month and most posters with a working Smets 2 smart meter have received a bill by the 4th February.0 -

The source is your meter. Tomato clearly still have a few issues actually pulling data. I'm sure they will fix it eventually, who knows they might even fix whatever stops them reading SMETS1 meters, though I wouldn't hold my breath on that one..2 -
They pull data at different times and I've seen instances where Bright has gaps that are present at MyWatts. The n3rgy way seems to be the most robust, where only the previous day is pulled in the afternoon of the next day. But then you are waiting longer for the data.0

N3rgy pull more than once a day. They might just make only the previous day available on their consumer site but their partners get the current days data. If I look at Loop now they, have data to 03:00. I think they update about every 10 hours or so.0

If only I could extract the data from Loop... I've found the same in general, but right now MyWatts > Loop > BrightSince the middle of last week MyWatts has been updating much more frequently for me and not pulling data with gaps. Though longer term, Loop has been more reliable.0

TE are adding their own readings on the readings page now, interestingly they added one the day after I migrated 11th Jan (a days usage on TE), which is lower than Octopus used for a final reading, so Octopus caught red handed playing games.1

The latest error by Tomato (despite still not receiving any bills since I joined on September 1st and them messing up 2 meters).
Anyway, I decided to have a look on the Meter Readings area in MyWatts - only to find the meter reading I submitted on September 1st (thankfully have a meter photo) had been moved to September 8th and a much lower reading had been put under September 1st.
I assumed Octopus and Tomato had agreed a different changeover reading to mine.
I decided to dig out my final bill from Octopus only to discover the exact same reading I had submitted to Tomato.
So, Tomato have edited my account, added in their own meter reading and (if I hadn't checked) would be charging me an extra £35+ for energy I never used.
Not only are they incompetent it seems they may be thieves too - I await their response to this latest issue.
Im thinking I need to involve Ofgem now as I cannot see Tomato getting their act together any time soon.3
