i’ve only just noticed these are two different occasions if that makes any difference? The dates are different.

This is the first correspondence i’ve had for the second “incident”.

    Hi All,

just on the second notice coming through for a different date do you suggest i appeal with the same template from the start of this thread? Or just ignore. I’ve still not had a response for my first pcn appeal.

Appeal, always appeal, as plan B, thats what I would do

PLAN A should ALWAYS be pursued, first

Plan B is appeal before the deadline if plan A hasn't achieved a cancellation

If there were 10 PCNs the keeper might complain about them 10 times, or one complaint giving 10 sets of details, first.  After that, 10 separate appeals would be made before the deadlines to appeal lapse

Add that to the complaint that coupon mad told you to make, the complaint to the parking company should be made by following the link or advice listed on the right of their entry on the BPA AOS members list on the BPA website

What is interesting is how incompetent some of these private parking companies are. !

Are you sure?  This is the same PCN.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Hi Coupon mad,

Definitely entered the correct details, i entered both PCNs to double check and both came up with the same message as above. The first one i obviously appealed but the second one i didn't so not sure why it's saying it's already been appealed.

Just tried to get onto the CUP website now and their website isn't working. error code 404. shambles of an operation.

i'm not sure if they have confused themselves as they state in the last letter "as 29 days have passed from the date of the original PCN detailed above CUP now has the right to recover the charge from me the registered keeper" however i did not receive any NTK for the second alleged contravention, i only received a NTK for the first one which i appealed.

Honestly this whole situation had got my head in a spin and feeling extremely frustrated. I really do appreciate everyone's help on here.

Surely it's the same Ref?  The 2nd letter is just a reminder.

Hi Coupon mad that's what i initially thought, turns out this is a second PCN nothing to do with the first one, i initially thought it was a follow up to the first PCN as it was sent as a parking charge reminder as opposed to a NTK. If you check the dates and images you can see they are different instances.

i never received a NTK for the second contravention. Just this reminder letter.

Hi All, had this letter come through the other day, bit confused their last correspondence was to TOL or my appeal could be rejected. So they haven’t yet accepted or rejected my appeal and they’ve now sent this.

Hey @saviola7 - am I reading these right, these parking 'contraventions' are for stays of less than 3 mins? That doesn't make any sense - surely they can't even issue a PCN in that short a time frame....
