Rewards card options?

Options
I have done a search but all the answers seem old.
I have a Tesco CC I do all my spending on it and pay it off in full each month.
I used to get 4x in reward vouchers but now it's only 2x.
Which card would get me better rewards, be it % cashback or other rewards or should I just stick with Tesco?
Thanks

Thanks. We have a holiday to pay for soon so it seems the Amex one would be best but it say I only have a 6% chance of being accepted, how do they know this?

It will depend on the criteria for each lender, but will likely be based on existing credit, debt, outgoings and income for example.

If you want an Amex, this chart helps highlight which card will earn most rewards on spend (presuming that you can spend Nectar as easily as cash, i.e. occasional redemptions at Argos or Sainsburys incl petrol stations with a kiosk):

ARCC = Amex Rewards Credit Card btw.

If you want a non-Amex option, your best bets are:
    • Santander Edge Credit Card (1% cashback, boosted to 2% for year, max £15 rewards, £3/month; requires Santander current account)
    • Natwest/RBS Reward Credit card (1% cashback at supermarkets, 0.25% elsewhere; £24 annual fee waived if you hold a matching Natwest or RBS Reward current account, which itself can earn you £3/month with very little hassle
    • Barclaycard Avios - 1 Avios per £, no annual fee. 1 Avios autoconverts to Nectar at 1:1 if you want it to currently, so you can treat this as a straightforward 0.5% reward equivalent.
It's not a credit card, but it's worth noting that Chase will pay 1% cashback (max £15/month) on their current account debit card; which beats all the above on reward level alone - credit cards work better for me but important to know all the options.

That's a very useful chart @WillPS!  I have a similar one comparing my RBS Black Credit with my Amex Cashback (crossover is £10k annual spend ignoring RBS 1% at supermarkets - 0.5% is base cashback rate).  I don't pay for my RBS Black.

@Archergirl for a new Amex, don't forget the 5% initial bonus.  And don't use Amex abroad - the FX loading erodes accumulated cashback.

That is a helpful table, although I would like to know what assumptions have been made about the monetary value of Nectar points?

    The assumptions are:
    • the customer would have no issue spending their rewards occasionally at Argos, Sainsburys or (my favourite) a Sainsburys PFS with a kiosk; even if they don't ususally shop at Argos or Sainsburys.
    • points are valued at exactly 0.5p each (which has been their face value for redemption for the entire life of the Nectar scheme, but could of course change potentially). Higher value redemptions are possible but now so rare that you can't really price them in.
