Mine was updated on the third (though I only downloaded it yesterday) and shows the new version splash screen, looks good for a credit card only account which I have

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I could be wrong but that’s what i think
  • There would be no distinction between old and new customers in terms of the app version. So all customers would get the new version at the same time. Some may not install it.

Agreed some may choose not to update the app but I would see why they wouldn’t

With Android apps, updates to customers are released as a staged rollout via Google Play rather than making a new version available to all immediately.

But that’s not the same as the app going to only new or old customers. It’s standard for updates to be staged.
  • I have an updated Lloyds app today on my android phone.
