GI.. you can do so much better... that will be boring for a baby anyway.. they will only see the bottom.. from underneath.. flip the flowers so they hang facing down so baby can actually see them!!! And maybe make them brighter so they are visible to a newborns short vision..

Thank you for the comments re the mobile. I have a hoop as I made DD1 a mobile and the hoops came in a set of 2. That was crocheted dinosaurs, and I followed a pattern. I think I will follow the pattern for the hanging & covering of the hoop with some dusky pink cotton yarn I already have. The flowers will be similar, but slightly more pink & less brown. It is more decor for the room if we are totally honest 😂 You ladies have given me the confidence to start it.....later.....
The sun is shining! I must visit the allotment today to pull weeds....I am sure there will be plenty after the rain yesterday! The grass may need cutting too, but I may give that a day or 2 to dry out. I am hoping I will be rewarded with some delicious corn on the cob 😋
Other than that, it will be washing & pottering in the garden & summerhouse. Maybe admin (I did very little yesterday!) & cutting out some felt flowers 😁
Have a good day everyone 😘6 -
Morning all xx
Woke up at 8.45am which hopefully compensates somewhat for me being in WAC around 4am.
I'm up, made my bed, completed Wordle, managed two lines on Connections again ....my yang friend solved all 4 today, and I'm supping my first brew.
Sun is shining. Sky is blue. I think I'll have another brew 😉

Round…i too got all 4 today but i thought it challenging.
Still in my nightwear but just popped to peg out the washing as rain is forecast for this afternoon and we changed our beds so there’s lots of laundry.
Put my muesli to soak whilst i carry out my vertical half hour and shower.

WM x2, 1st load pegged out
DH has cut some excess branches from the cherry tree, I have pulled a few weeds in the garden. I am waiting for the 2nd load to finish, and then I will collect the order of new bathroom sink taps from SF. I may call in at the car wash on the way..... Both are on my list! We have noisy plumbing, and I think (from experience!) that is is the bathroom taps. The valves go, but it is easier & cheaper to buy new taps! It has happened twice in recent years with the kitchen. Have I ever said that I hate plumbing!!?

Our cherry tree is dead.. that is being cut down in a couple of weeks when the plants have died back.
I hung out some towels and loaded the DW
I've yelled at the cat twice.. he was pooping in the hallway then he ran outside because he was in trouble..
my big one gets used for storing christmas presents too so I can probably manage that too..
I have 2 vinted parcels to sort and I want to get the suitcases put back away today, They are cluttering my house..
Lionel supposed to be having his arm surgery this morning but they have put it off again to 1pm..
GI .. I hate plumbing too.. I don't have a single tape in the house which does not need fixing, I have a leaking shower which is unusable so I cannot wash myself, no sealant around the bath ... basically my bathroom needs ripping out and starting again. My kitchen ceiling has been down almost a year because I can't afford to get the bathroom sorted.
and the waste on both hand basins need replacing. I would love a downstairs loo too. Plumbers don't seem to do any work here so I will either have to convince OH to give it all a go or just do it myself like everything else.
the 2 smalls are making incessant stupid noise.. I am going elsewhere.. i can't think straight enough to purchase school shoes.

Brew 2 supped and toast eaten. Got dressed. Filled tea caddy with tea bags. Fed the birds. Put out the recycling. Had QH in the garden with my secateurs. Brown bin is now full of random snippings ... including thorny bits of blackthorn, bramble briars, and holly. Ouchie.

Hello all.
Today I have walked Poppet, done dailies, hoovered through, done two wash loads which are now away and spent the afternoon with friends.
Didn't do wordle ( had four letters but too many options for the fifth), completed connections.
See you on the new thread.Spend less now, work less later.6 -
All the floors in the house were done this morning, and some dusting. Croquet played and lunch scoffed with neighbours and friends. Absolutely exhuasted.
Better is good enough.5
