We participated in this event for the first time in the triple session from 12h00 to 15h00 on Saturday 25th October, using in excess of 10 kWh more than normal usage. We eagerly awaited the credit to our account for same and could hardly contain our excitement at this significant opportunity... then on Wednesday, the credit arrived... it was:6p!So we are about £3 down on the deal. We await an explanation with considerable interest. Needless to say, all Octopus customers participating in future such events should carefully check that they aren't being stiffed by Octopus similarly.1

I'm surprised you got the results so quickly, mine aren't in. What does your account show? We didn't really participate prior to Friday/Saturday but previous sessions are itemised ..

Qyburn's screenshot is from the "free energy sessions" page on the Octopus app.Mine says "last updated 5th October" and looks similar; no entry for the latest sessions. However, like you I do have a credit showing on my energy account, dated today, and described as "free electricity reward".Edit to add:My credit for the 4th of October session was paid on the 9th, and the 5th was paid on the 10th, so (with a 5-day lag) we might expect the session from the 25th to be paid ~now?Second edit:There was a 1-hr session on the 24th as well as the 3-hr one on the 25th, so we might see two credit payments, one smaller and one larger?N. I'm not making a third edit
My Octopus app has just updated to add a second "free electricity reward" credit, this one dated 30th of October. So I'm guessing the one dated the 29th is for the session on the 24th, and the one dated 30th is for the session on the 25th. The credits seem to marry up with the amount of electricity used / credit expected during those sessions.@GraceCourt did you opt in on the 24th as well as the 25th? Have you now got a second credit?N. Hampshire, he/him. Octopus Intelligent Go elec & Tracker gas / Vodafone BB / iD mobile. Ripple Kirk Hill Coop member.Ofgem cap table, Ofgem cap explainer. My last update in the free electricity section is 5th October as well, although I have a credit on the 29th for £6.98 which would seem to be for the last two sessions.0

Just got my two, the 1hr one was better than the 3hr, but for the 3hr I was on IOF for one weekend and so the app was topping up my battery ready for the peak dump, and there was a good bit of solar too.The Friday night one even on IOF , the house runs on battery on no exporting so I got the full cost of the 1hour charge I ran. A fair result all in all.
The earlier ones were for deemed charge on IOF
