  • After pointing out (again) that they need to send me the contract by which they claim to operate the Wye Valley Visitor Centre car park Parking Eye sent me the following redacted poor-quality form:

    https://acrobat.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:EU:75857257-2eef-45b7-a43b-15ea706efafa

Also a list of parking payment machine transactions for the day.  My driver's card not showing of course.

Then I had the mediation appointment yesterday...
The mediator told me that Parking Eye said that they would accept £165 to settle, so I said no.

Which you will cover in your WS with the CoA authority of Hancock v Promontoria.

  • Latest from Parking Eye:

The Claimant would confirm that we will not be providing you with an unredacted version of our contract with the landowner as large parts of the contract contain commercially sensitive information that is not relevant to the claim at hand, and for this reason the document is redacted. An unredacted copy will be provided to our advocate attending the hearing and will be provided to the judge upon their request

So I am being taken to court but I am not allowed to see the document that gives the Claimant authority to do this, but if the judge asks nicely, they will let him have a look?
