How to get rid of spiders?

Hi,
does anyone know of products that work against spiders?
Spray, powder, anything, as long as they won't come back anymore.

Thanks

Why?spiders do only good, catching flies, mosquitoes and other things you don’t want round the house. If you really can’t stand them in the house just catch and release them outside (or get someone else to do it).

Capture them and release them outdoors somewhere.

I'd rather have spiders than flies, I leave them be to do their excellent work.

As for the last part of your question even if you got rid of them all unless you hermetically seal you house others will come to replace them.

Its not possible, on some level you'll have to learn to live with them, please don't kill them.  Electronic products seem to have some degree of success (anecdotally)

If you have a phobia of spiders, and many people do, then I would see if you can seek help overcoming it as you will never be able to eradicate spiders in your house.

Spiders are good for the planet, they will be more scared of you than you will be of them. I never had a phobia but I used to dislike spiders, now they don't bother me at all and I even pick them up to move them out the way if they are in the bath for example.

I agree with the above - however there is a spray used in certain settings that does what's asked for a short time. It's a spray called 'Spider-X' - used by security professionals for example to help keep CCTV cameras clear (Spiders are renowned for building webs in front of camera lenses thanks to the IR lights). It's generally accepted though that this method is only for short term use, and that it causes quite a nasty spider death if they come into contact. If you have a specific area/application that has a reason to deter spiders (other than you just don't like them in your house) then it might work for you:

    Thank you.

I have a phobia for spaces that are not dazzling clean, especially kitchen, loos and corners.

I'd wholeheartedly recommend anyone that has a phobia of spiders undertaking a course, often run by your local zoo. I do feel I need a refresher as I'm still not a massive fan, but I no longer have panic attacks about them.

Last year we had loads of flies in our bathroom window, this year we have a spider living in there and no flies. We are going to have to remove the spider soon as the cobwebs are getting ridiculous and nit sure we can remove one without the other
