The sort code & account number for TRADING 212 is
(Removed by Forum Team) / (Removed by Forum Team)
You then need to find your unique reference number (which will be your own account number)

To find your unique reference number, click on MENU (the 3 lines, bottom right), click on MANAGE FUNDS, click DEPOSIT, click BANK TRANSFER (add your bank if needed) - your reference number will then be displayed

So when transfering out, use the sort code (Removed by Forum Team) and your unique reference number (which will be your account number)

    🙏 grateful

Probably because the MSE Forum rules do not allow it, or the team consider it a risk as those details could direct users to scam accounts.
  • I am wanting to make a transfer from my TRADING 212 ISA to a new ISA provider. Can anyone tell me which banks will allow such a transfer and if possible how to find out the sort code and account number of TRADING 212 please?

Most ISA providers will permit transfers from T212, so probably best to identify which one(s) you're thinking of and asking a more specific question?

It's actually a doddle as I discovered after seeing a handful of tales of doom & woe regards T212 transfers out.

Simply use '00-00-00' for the 'Sort Code', and for the 'Account Number' you use your 'T212 Cash ISA Account ID' (it's 8 digits). Your 'T212 Cash ISA Account ID' is at the top of your Monthly Statements.
It can also be found in the App (if used) and/or in your 'T212 Online Account' by simply clicking on-
The '3 Bar Menu' () (on the Home page) > 'Settings' > 'My Account' (on the left) > 'Account Details' (found towards the right after you clicked on the 'My Account' heading).
BEWARE- Your 'Cash ISA Account ID Number'=the one needed IS NOT THE SAME as your 'Account ID Number'=the wrong number & which is shown on some documents like 'Yearly Statements' & other places. SO MAKE SURE IT SAYS- 'Cash ISA Account ID' (which is sometimes also referred to as your 'Customer ID Number' because some folk love making things more confusing eh)!

I know the Sort Code seems suss' but I assure you it's simply because T212 aren't a bank & it's perfectly fine. So because T212 don't use the Cash ISA Transfer System that most of us have become used to it simply means your new ISA Provider will send you a 'Transfer Authorisation Document' to fill in (it was the norm before Pay.UK developed the ISA transfer system) & you simply use that 'Sort Code' & your 'Cash ISA Account ID Number' then send the form back asap & all will go through just fine, it just takes a tad longer.

There's a good number of providers who'll accept transfers via a 'Transfer Authorisation Document' (probably near all building societies & main banks (see my Tesco experience below). But always give them a quick phone call first just to confirm & be certain & DO NOT make my mistake & rely on info from the web only, even from a providers own website!!! I did that & read that 'CHIP' accepted T212 transfers only to find out after opening the CHIP account & ISA that the web info was outdated & they no longer accept transfers in from T212. Clowns are supposed to keep such info up to date BUT it taught me a lesson & a quick & easy phone call is that lesson.

Transferred my T212 to the TESCO Cash ISA at 4.02% (fixed 1yr bonus in that rate so only the 1.05% base rate is variable), plus it's a Flexible ISA which is just how I like it when possible.
Opened the Tesco ISA on 19th-Dec & all was completed on 9th-Jan but the bulk of that 21 days was waiting for paperwork to arrive & get back to Tesco via Royal Snail post!
However I was still earning interest from T212 who sent me an email 16 or 17 days in asking me to confirm (via App or Online Account) the transfer as they'd received the transfer authorisation request from Tesco & It was only after I'd confirmed that the interest stopped being paid, then 4 to 5 days later all was completed & interest was now being earned with Tesco.

After moving to T212 I did become a tad concerned for a while on discovering they don't use the ISA transfer system for outgoing transfers & then reading some negative reviews but I saw more than enough positives to make me not want to jump ship asap & I only actually moved as I was now on the lower % rate with T212, so after my experience with them & as I'll be moving again once the Tesco bonus ends, if T212 do come out on top I'll more than happily return.

Just spotted that a 'Sort Code' left in another comment was removed.
I've also seen in web search results a different 'Sort Code' to the one I was told to use by T212 is often shown, but that's for JP Morgan who are one of the banks T212 use & I would not use that for a transfer out unless told to do so by T212.

Also I've seen that you can just leave the 'Sort Code' blank on the transfer form which I imagine is the same as using all zeros anyway. Basically the 'Code' I gave in my earlier reply (if removed) was the 'Sort Code' T212 told me to use & simply consisted of All Zeros (this again may be removed??). That code is probably only given to us by T212 to satisfy those of us who feel that leaving the 'Sort Code' field blank doesn't feel right.

Easiest fix if codes etc are removed from here. The guaranteed way to ensure safety is to just message T212 & ask them, that's all I did & at same time I confirmed I was using my correct 'Cash ISA Account Number' for the 'Account Number' on the 'Transfer Authorisation Document' sent to me by Tesco.
