We are actively working on implementing this functionality and appreciate your patience during this process"
I now need to find another way to transfer my existing Virgin ISA's to T212I didn't think you would be using Truelayer to transfer a Virgin Isa to T212.Surely you just complete the Isa transfer request form on T212, selecting 'Virgin Money 82 sort codes'I transfered VM 82 sort code Isa to T212 no problem2 -
Why can't you request the ISA transfer via the Trading 212 website? That would be the normal route.

No not at all. It's variable initially at 5.17 then reduced 4.9. Now reduced again to 4.5JohnB47 said:
Are you sure there isn't a reason for that? Did you open the account via one of the sites advertising the bonus interest? I believe the bonus rate is available only via those sites. Everyone else gets 4.9%.Isarulesaretoocomplex said:So open an account with them at 5.17 then they reduce it to 4.9 but then go on to offer a higher rate to new customers only...will probably do the same to those signing up now
Also, the bonus is fixed for a year but the underlying rate (4.9 currently) is variable. If that underlying rate was reduced, we'd all know about it - it wouldn't effect just you.0 -
Just reminded, from my spreadsheet notes, that come 6 April 2025, my Trading212 Cash ISA rate is going to tank from (currently) 4.50% to 4.00% AER (bonus 0.50% expiring).
Now, given that I hold a Cash ISA with Virgin offering 4.51%, transfer of funds seems the most logical avenue. Except, once interest is added, my Trading212 will exceed £85k and so, as T212 only allow FULL transfers out, I will be out of the protected range within Virgin Money. (Trading212 currently splits the total between three banks).
First World problem, I know, but I can see a bit of 'bouncing' going on with my finances soon! 🤔0 -
I'm a bit surprised about the T212 comment. I thought that the 4.5%AER was their standard rate on the Cash ISA and I've not heard about it being reduced in April. Me too. My last notification was a reduction to 4.5% from 01/03slinger2 said:

My spreadsheet is incorrect.
The "note" referred to my Zopa Cash ISA and, when I transferred it to Trading212, I lazily overtyped Zopa for Trading212 (clearly) as the note on my closed Zopa account states the same as that on my spreadsheet.
And I have only been with Trading212 since September 2024!!
Thank you so much for querying it. One issue I now do not have to consider because it does not exist.1 -
Can anyone tell me how to transfer out of Trading 212 isa. I need a sort code for my acc. and can't seem to find it .0

They don’t have a sort code, but you can transfer out. Contact your new provider and let them know it’s Trading 212 you wish to transfer from - with Close Brothers I needed to fill in a paper form to transfer out… which still hasn’t completed after a month because 212 are incompetent / deliberately dragging their heels. I highly recommend you check up on them regularly until the transfer has completed.hrvymarie said:Can anyone tell me how to transfer out of Trading 212 isa. The sort code & account number for TRADING 212 is(Removed by Forum Team) / (Removed by Forum Team)You then need to find your unique reference number (which will be your own account number)To find your unique reference number, click on MENU (the 3 lines, bottom right), click on MANAGE FUNDS, click DEPOSIT, click BANK TRANSFER (add your bank if needed) - your reference number will then be displayedSo when transfering out, use the sort code (Removed by Forum Team) and your unique reference number (which will be your account number)
