  • Confused about Trading 212 Cash ISAS - I've opened a cash ISA but the 212 system won't let my wife open one on the same PC or on my phone - does anyone know the T212 rules on this (chat service not very helpful)
You can open one each. You'll need to use a unique e-mail address.

Not sure what else could be causing the issue. Have you tried a different browser on PC or using an Incognito/Private window? Could be a cookie issue.

What message are you getting when your wife tries?

You could try using a different browser on your PC. Firefox is good if you don't already use it. Might work, you never know.
  • I’ve had a poor experience from T212. Set up cash ISA at the start of August. Finally had my transfer request from another provider cancelled today. Also paid in some cash from my current account, a week later still hasn’t shown up in my account. Waiting on slooooow response from customer service regarding that one. But all set to start again and set up a new ISA somewhere else. This has been hopeless.

I really woundln't bother with T212 ISA, unless you want a lot of hassle trying to access your money. Read the other threads please. I wish I had not transferred in my ISA to T212.

  • Clearly everyone has a different experience. T212 sorted my transfer from Tesco Bank in 5 days. Those 5 days included a weekend, so actually 3 working days.
    Their service has been exceptional.
Others are having no issues transferring out either.
  • I applied for a Cash ISA and over a week later they're still reviewing my documents. I've asked a couple of time via Online Chat how long this process should take, and they're not helpful. They just say they're still reviewing my documents and they'll notify me when everything is finished. Usually other banks and financial institutions manage to review documents online within minutes or hours at most.
Not impressed so far with Trading 212 - nor their "customer service".......keeping my money in a Chip ISA for now. Might just leave it there and ditch Trading 212 if they ever finish reviewing my docs!

Hi I opened a cash isa with Trader 212 last week via the Martin Lewis Email link (I don't have any other ISAs). I've not heard of them before but its a good rate and on MSE.  I'm not very tech savvy so was proud of myself when I sat it up and scanned in a photo of my passport. However when I tried to transfer money over there were only 2 options; instant bank transfers and bank transfers which take 2-3 days. However when I tried to do an instant bank transfer it seemed that i needed to give control of my bank to Trader 212 and then when i tried to do a bank transfer I had to give my bank details. I'm not very tech savvy and I am worried about being scammed, the last time i had an ISA there was a real bank on the high street and I used a cheque book lol !!!! Can anyone advise please?. It doesn't help that I have read a bit about Trader 212 being cloned. I have emailed Trader 212 and they have sent me an email with info links on but have told me to read it in a "calm manner" !!!! I was calm before this message. I  can set up a cash isa with my bank Natwest on my mobile app however the interest rate is a little less do I need to cancel the Trader 212 one there's no money in it. Thank you
I set one up via the app on Friday and transferred the money which arrived this morning. All you need to do is set up the payment via your own bank ensuring you use the unique reference which will get the funds to your ISA account. The reference is at the top of the payment details.

Has anyone been able to set up a regular deposit into a T212 cash ISA? Their chatbot says this can only be done by debit card. But the deposit options only give me the option to bank transfer or faster bank transfer.
If I set up a standing order from my current account using the JP Morgan bank details and the account ref number they give me, will this work? Bit nervous as this is not what the help it said to do 🤷🏻‍♀️
That should work, I've did a transfer from Chase to Trading 212 using this method on Friday evening and the money landed this morning.

I have just opened an account with T212 but when I click on the "transfer ISA" option, it brings up a list of banks...so I tap on my bank but nothing happens, it's as if the app doesn't respond. I've tried a few times now.
So I was wondering if I can withdraw my ISA into my debit account then put it into the T212 ISA...or will this create an issue?
    Thanks
It will mean you are depositing new money in for this tax year. If you have an existing ISA you need to do a transfer

If your existing ISA is under £20k and any additional funds you add before April will still be under 20k,...
