McDonalds Food for thought Surveys

not really sure where I stand with this...
I still have alot of the old receipts for the McDonalds Food for Thought surveys (Completed) up until recently they've been acepted but now I'm being told they are too old (They're from 2020 ish).
When I originally got the receipts and was asked by store staff to complete them I was informed that they had no expiry date so I should keep them.
The Ts&Cs don't mention anything about expiring and actulaly state
"
2. Offer: (If you complete the Survey before 1st November 2023) Purchase six Chicken McNuggets® or one Big Mac® or Filet-o-Fish® or, McChicken® Sandwich or Quarter Pounder with Cheese® or McPlant® with either one medium Fries or one Side Salad for £1.99
"
So I think they should be accepted.
I have contacted McDonalds customer support and after having to chase them to get a reply simply got the reply that the store manager said they were too old.
and I know its not for much - its mainly as I've kept my end of the deal in filling in the surveys and keeping the receipts safe and now feel stiffed by the clown.
I still have about 30 completed survey receipts left.
any advice welcome

Thanks

The full section 2 is
2. So If I completed the survey before Nov '23 its 1.99 and after its 2.99.
I completed them in 2020 - so I read it as 1.992 -
The voucher should have an expiry date on it and a code?
It looks like hoarding these has come up before https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6263618/mcdonalds-food-for-thoughts-expiry Although that member didn’t get around to completing the surveys.

Prior to this, it seems like you were issued a receipt with a code. You were supposed to enter this code and take the survey, the code on the receipt was then used to redeem the offer. There is no mention in the old T&C's of an expiry date on the receipt. However, the T&C's at the time statedpresents the QR code or 12 digit alphanumeric participation code on the voucher to a crew member and requests a crew member scans or enters that code at a till, and places an order for the selected items at a McDonald's Restaurant by 23:59 on the expiry date set out on the email voucher. So it appears that something should have been emailed to the OP at the time of completing the survey giving them an expiry date. I suspect that date is going to be considerably less than 4-ish years. If the OP is relying on what was conveyed to them verbally by a staff member 4 years ago, I suspect they're onto a loser.
Outside of them trying to become a big enough pain that they get some go-away money, I can't see that they're going to get anywhere with this.3 -
Just found an email from where I had completed the 'Food for Thoughts' survey. It gives you a QR code to present and underneath mine states 'Expiry date 31/01/2023'Email was dated 15/12/2022.2

Thanks for commets so far
The vouchers/receipts I got were from before the QR system was introduced.
The QR system is also when they started having expiry dates.
Before the QR system all you got at the end of the survey was a 5 digit number to write on the receipt confirming you'd completed it.

If there was no expiry date on the original vouchers, then you should still be eligible to use them (despite the desperate attempts by some on here to claim you must be wrong and there must be a expiry date given).
Enforcing that is likely to be the difficulty. Your best bet would be to email customer services again, explaining the issue and seeking a resolution. Otherwise you'd have to ask if you're willing to take them to small claims court to enforce your rights.0 -

That didn't paste well.
heres the email:
Morning Callum,
I’m still after this being clarified by email please.
The manager has simply said they are “too old” and I can see nothing mentioning an expiry date or a date they must be used by nor can I see anything else invalidating these vouchers or any written reason they should not be accepted in any of the Ts&Cs.
As I have collected, completed and kept theses receipts for future use as advised by the staff (the staff advised me to keep them as they had no expiry date so lasted until used), I still feel they are valid and should be accepted - please can you point me at something that specifies they have a cut-off date or reason in the Ts&Cs invalidating them.
As I have previously states I completed my part of the agreement to complete them, I just expect McDonalds to honour their end , and other McDonalds haven’t had any issue in taking them.
I have been advised to get this information in writing before deciding if I want to further this elsewhere.
Many thanks
