Mmmmm nope. Are they asking you to pay anything upfront? or for the photos?
I can't seem to find anything about covergirl on here except for a very old comp posted by covergirl  about covergirl insurance :rolleyes2
and on google all I can find is that it's a modelling agency ..... (which I expect means you get photos done and have to pay loads for the portfolio)0 -

Well, well done, I hope it goes ok, I hate to sound so negative but I've heard about some similar comps where they try the hard sell & stuff ..... someone mentioned one on the scam thread:Got a phone call at 8.20pm last night and a bloke said i had won a competition (i enter so many i cant remember) and i thought it was legit as i have a new number and dont often give it out.
He said i had won a hair and make up treatment for me and a friend + a photo shoot and unlimited refreshments then i could take a photo home.
i asked where they were and he said oxford street.
i asked the name of the company but it was hard to here him, something... studios.
All sounded great until.....
i had to pay £30 per person refundable on the day to confirm i was going.
1 i dont pay over the phone and 2 i shouldnt have to pay (even if refundable) for winning a competition!
He said he was emailing me the details but didnt so when he rang me back today i told him to lump it0 -
Hi, please, please don't give them any money, put Coverlook in the search on this web and read all 6 pages. They are scammers!!!!!poonammendiratta wrote: »Hello,

A lot of these photo sessions are all out to charge u loads for a photo.
Got 1 done myself locally, in Manchester,
and then after the photo session was shown the pics...not very well taken...there was like a shadow on each of my pics...about 30 pics in all.
Then it was down to the crunch...£60 for 1 pic... £90 for 2 pics...and so it goes on..
So I just bought 1 pic.....
Just all a rip off.....0 -
I "won" a similar comp a few months ago, to be hones if they are asking for money, even if it refundable, then it isnt really a win, I declined the "offer"
I think you will be given the hard sell after the photos are taken.
What we see depends mainly on what we look for
