Horizon Parking Tesco Parent and Child bay

RacerX

The most likely visit for which the PCN was received saw child with other parent dropped at side entrance to use the facilities before commencing shopping instore, and vehicle was parked moments later
Their own picture shows the child seat with the very
recently used drink bottle in it, so how do they approach this; wait
until the car is empty and then try it on? Sit and study hours of CCTV footage looking for possible 'marks'? Seems like some wierd kind of stalking...
Have read through everything we think we're meant to regarding forum/newbies and posting and feel the correspondence received is slightly reworded compared to other examples (but perhaps not quite enough) so would like to check correct approach please
So far no response on Plan A but if following the threads should be able to go to Plan B anyway
Does Plan B in this instance need to wait to a certain date (near the 28 day limit quoted)?
If Plan B fails is the current maximum penalty quoted then increased?

So based on the above, go to an online appeal using the below paragraph (not quite understanding the meaining of the auto withdraw part, sorry)?
This is an appeal by the registered keeper - No driver details will be
given. Please do NOT try the usual trick of asking for driver details in
order to get around the fact your NtK does not comply with PoFA. As
there is no keeper liability, therefore, liability cannot flow from the
driver to the keeper and so, is an automatic win at POPLA. Please cancel
the notice or issue a POPLA code at which point you will auto withdraw
Really appreciate knowing if we have understood and are following the correct approach?
Many thanks

First go to the store and get them to cancel this ticket. Be persistent and if necessary go higher up the store management as they can stop this going any further.
You can name the store on here and someone may have knowledge of dealing with problems there.3 -
There is no penalty, no fine, just an invoice for the alleged breach of the parking contract
Plan A is always the best option, up until day 25 when the RK would appeal it as keeper, no blabbing about who was driving. It doesn't matter if you dont understand the wording, just be aware that many invoices are discontinued for various reasons, usually involving not wanting to throw good money after bad
These companies prey on the gullible, especially those that make inadvertent admissions or just pay up
Is the postal NTK PCN letter compliant with POFA. ? Or not. ?
No idea what the links are in post 1. How much is the default charge on the PCN. ? £70 or £100 or some other total. ? ( That is the total in play, not the early settlement figure. )2 -

It's not valid now, nor validly increased and you won't pay a penny. The amount demanded at each stage is completely irrelevant to you.
Horizon PCNs x 2 versions are not 'POFA compliant' (see the NTK pictures thread, linked in the NEWBIES thread or in my posting profile if quicker for you). Explained there.
Obviously the keeper appeals, not the driver.
The keeper wins in the end at POPLA stage, by copying other recent Horizon POPLA appeals. There is one written this week...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sure I read that you post it as hxxp and somebody converts it? (sorry)0 -

Thank you - so that appears to show that I already have the right idea as to going to Plan B (that thread is using the same paragraph)?

There is one written this week...Thank you - I did look at example letters/photos and mine looks in a different format, whilst (in total novice level) appearing to follow the same style/wordingI posted links in the format I thought was desired from the newbies thread so that the correspondence received could be checked over but it seems like that hasn't worked either (the exclamation points should show !!!!!! rather than !!!!)0 -
Apologies - when I hit preview all reads fine, then on posting gets amendedThe exclamation points are hiding the word "tiny" and then the letters "u", "r" and "l" all as one wordHighly expecting this to also be amended0
-
Thank you knightstyle - I did try that but didn't get any joy, they referred me back to the parking operator, my feeling being I could go to Plan B but was hoping my letter could be checked overThe amount of information held here is amazing but also overwhelming, leaving me unsure if I've completely understood0

Even if it had displayed tiny url properly, it is highly unlikely that any regular here would click on it - simply because they would have no idea where they were being directed.
Dealing with private parking companies makes one suspicious of everything.2
