Thank you all for the further comments

Just a heads up, I am neurodivergent which often means my understanding of something could be completely different to the majority, even simple things, so I have learnt over time it's best to slow down and question something especially when there are variables

As an example some advice was do Plan B now, other advice was wait until day 25 etc. I apologise to those I infuriated due to trying to understand which of those was correct rather than just getting on with it, but that is how I'm wired and no matter how often I see the reaction on peoples faces there is nothing I can do about it - can't leave a puzzle incomplete, try to visualise me playing a multi level Xbox game.....

To help myself, and because I would imagine this will come up for others, it looks to me like the appeals page for Horizon has changed (links below)

I would imagine complete the RK details as given, association to the appeal is RK, and then paste the following into the Appeal box (and no uploads/supporting evidence required)

"This is an appeal by the registered keeper - No driver details will be given. Please do NOT try the usual trick of asking for driver details in order to get around the fact your NtK does not comply with PoFA. As there is no keeper liability, therefore, liability cannot flow from the driver to the keeper and so, is an automatic win at POPLA. Please cancel the notice or issue a POPLA code at which point you will auto withdraw"

    Is this thinking correct?

No problem with your proposed appeal method, or timing either, you do what you think is best for you, within the various deadlines, that is the correct thing to do, after getting advice which helps

My deadline is the latest time to do it, which can matter in some cases, but people always have the option to appeal earlier, there is no actual correct date, but the 28 day deadline is non negotiable, hence why we say around day 25 or 26 at the latest

With some companies its an easy win regardless of waiting or not, for various reasons, so that can be why people will say do it now, dont wait ( a case of knowing your enemy and exploiting their weaknesses as soon as possible. )

Either way, earlier or later, you should expect to win in this particular case, because their weaknesses are already there and being used against them in your appeal
