You could do what I did. I'm 24 weeks pregnant and was so hot I thought I was going to die. Went and got some patterns from John Lewis and made my own! Have two long thin dresses for much cheaper than I could of brought (had I managed to find any) anywhere.

I did also a couple of weeks ago buy a couple of cheap short cotton dresses from tesco. I probably wouldn't wear them out but they nice to wear around the house.

Also lush are selling some shower jellies which you put in the freezer, I think I will be getting some this weekend!

    Hi Ladies,
I had my third (and last !) baby last August. I know exactly how you all feel. I became addicted to Tescos own brand strawberry ice lollies it was they thing that soothed me.
I am a size 12 and have a few linen/cotton bits left (Next, Gap, Mothercare) if anyone wants to PM me they can have them. I certainly wont be needing them ever again (Hubby now snipped !! tee hee). I am not selling them, they are FREE.
  • I received an email last night from Blooming Marvellous saying they have an up to 50% sale on. http://www.bloomingmarvellous.co.uk/categoryList.aspx?CategoryID=Sale&language=en-GB

I saw some dresses in there too

I was pregnant last year, baby born in April, and seven years ago, baby born in August. Much easier having Winter/ Spring pregnancy. For both pregnancies, however, I got all my stuff from Asda because their stuff is nice and really cheap! The best advice I got though was to give your maternity stuff away straight away after the birth, otherwise it is too tempting to wear it for too long afterwards and not start getting back into shape. I bought a couple of pairs of cheap cropped trousers from Matalan after the birth (about two sizes bigger than normal) to see me through the summer, and it helped me feel a bit more normal.

Good luck in the hot weather, remember drink loads of water, rest loads try to relax as much as possible.

p.s. swimming is lovely and cooling when pregnant - Asda had lovely maternity swimming costumes.
