Mine is slightly different (online banking Windows 11 laptop, ditto method) ... no 'pending', instead a little clockface which when clicked shows a dialog ... "In Progress 'This is still going through'", in both transaction lists under today's date. The Regular Saver does state £500 available.flaneurs_lobster said:
Ditto, assuming it's a weekend thing. I expect the payment to go un-pended(?) tomorrow with a credit date of today.jaypers said:
I paid to my Virgin Current a/c and did an internal transfer. Balance has updated but it says ‘pending’ in the RS list of transactions which I thought was odd.masonic said:In case anyone was unsure, my Faster Payment from an external account direct to the RS was credited straight away and dated today.

My wife and I funded our new RS accounts this morning. Paid directly from our Chase accounts and all was good.
Accounts were recognised and payments appeared on the Virgin Money site within seconds - couldn't be simpler.0 -
Cheeky Virgin Money…..posting date for money paid in on the 1st (Sunday) is the 2nd. Looks like they don’t count weekends when it’s the 1st.4

I can see from both my statements received today and online transactions, that my payments and transfers that occurred on both Thursday 1st August (opening) and 1st September have been recorded as the 2nd of each month.
I raised a complaint on the phone and expect the complaints team to contact me in 3 working days. Whilst I was on the phone the advisor told me incidentally that there had a major systems issue this week (slowness/delays) with many customers complaining that DDs and SOs had been actioned a day late?? ... not too impressed.1 -
I checked my Nationwide Regular Saver online statement and for the 2nd September it shows Transfer from <current account> Credit 01 September 2024 £200, so that should be OK.2010 said:

NW is the same.
That`s 24/7 banking for you!0 -
My initial deposit is credited as the 1st, but the second deposit (sent 1.9.24) is showing as the 2nd.dealyboy said:I can see from both my statements received today and online transactions, that my payments and transfers that occurred on both Thursday 1st August (opening) and 1st September have been recorded as the 2nd of each month.

When I was logged in yesterday, it wouldn't show any transactions, so possibly part of the system problems you mention? - working again today. However, I then tried to access the login/security part of online banking (to see if I could ditch the 'token' for logging in, and go back to OTP), but was 'thrown out', like yesterday, so not all sorted, it seems...1 -
I kept my money in an easy access account paying 5.2% until the Monday (2nd), then completed the transfer in one day. So I slashed my loss to 3½p3 -
Dam, was too busy on a flight to Spain to think of that. Could have bought myself a sniff of one of Ryanair's hot PaninisSecret2ndAccount said:
