After 7 working days TSB can override the activation code.  Call customer service, when prompted for the reason for calling say ‘set up internet banking.’  They will generate a new temporary password which allows you to complete internet banking registration without the code.

Yep thanks very much, I did exactly that yesterday. Just hope the blocked transaction via fraud team for my first card payment isnt a sign of things to come for tsb! Spent this
morning answering several questions via the chat feature to get the use of card back.

I applied on 6th August and got the code today.

Now I've got to do the 20 purchases which should be easy enough as I shop most days and I buy a lot of items from charity shops to sell on eBay.

I applied on the 2nd, no code by yesterday so requested a new one, and yes it arrived today  (only 12 days!) and code no longer valid.

Code received today. Input correctly following all instructions but says:

"Sorry, that didn't work

The password or activation code you entered is incorrect.

After 5 attempts we'll block your access to digital banking to

keep your account safe. You have 2 attempt(s) left."

Odd, as they are the correct login details and the code is as it is on the letter they sent.

I had that, convinced that it was their error on my last attempt tried a different password  and got in. Are you completely certain password is correct?
