@cathybird this has been a very spendy week, sadly, so I will not be able to reach my goal! I was so close! Today I am going to the hairdresser to get my hair done for a wedding I'm going to tomorrow. I Think I might be able to have another NSD tomorrow, as I will be at the wedding so not able to really spend much, but I will end up at 17. Sad!
@laura_lau don't feel sad, some months are like that, and every NSD is a win xx1 -
Thanks @cathybird 12 now for me please, I am not going to reach target, But I yet may make another one to add tomorrow. Thank you. Also I am happy with the target for next month however I hope for once I succeed past it...wishful thinking?

Friday has been a wonderfully spendy day!
My son has been looking for a biker's jacket for the last few weeks but couldn't find anything to fit his odd teenage body (broad shoulders, long body and arms, skinny waist)
I was browsing in a charity shop when there it was.
A biker's jacket in his size!
I measured it twice to check, sent him a photo and he agreed, it looked perfect.
So I bought it.
He's just tried it on and it's perfect!
And such a bargain....£6 😀
Feeling dizzy to have found what later turned out to be The Jacket, I had a mooch around the other charity shops and found:
Throw Throw Burrito. Brand new, unused. We love a family games night and this has had such good reviews. On sale in Waterstones and the nerdy board game shop for £25, I paid £5 from the local hospice charity shop.
Metallica hoodie £5. Pre-owned, but looks as good as new.
Another brand new, unused game, Tyles. Cost £2, RRP about £20.
So, a bit of a spendy day!
As part of our commitment to reduce unnecessary spending, we've swapped our old habits of going to the pub/ cinema/ meals out/ paid-for entertainment for making our own entertainment. A night of boardgames, home-cooked food and either homemade of supermarket plonk with family and friends is cheaper, easier and so much more fun!

@cathybird Please can you put me down for 20 NSD in September?
I love this NSD challenge!
It's really opened my eyes to how much cr*p we used to buy- and how much time, money and effort we wasted over the years.1 -
