Wednesday was a spending day, a trip to IKEA to get some stuff for my son for when he moves into his university accommodation.
I used to love IKEA, it was always the go-to place to go for home fixtures and furnishings but this time I was really disappointed. Prices have really gone up, yet the quality and range of products has gone down. I came away feeling there's very little there now that you can't find elsewhere for a better price.
The only thing I loved was the vegan hotdog and lingonberry juice 😁
Thursday was a NSD. I did a grocery shop, but I record this as Essential Spending.
Friday was another spending day. Went into town and managed to get everything on my son's list that we hadn't been able to get at IKEA.
We'd set a budget but only spent half, so I told him to keep it for any other "essentials" he may need.
According to him, beer, pizza and guitar equipment are "essentials"😆1 -
Not today - went somewhere very pricey, for lunch with a friend and we both fell into a Very Serious Art Supplies shop … 😉
Will cancel the loose plans I had for tomorrow and play at home! 😉
