Me again. I love this thread.
Just having breakfast. My fruit of choice today is pineapple, watermelon and grapes. I have done dailies, has shower, done stretches and walked Poppet. We walked for almost an hour but I forgot to put the walking app on so that's points towards vouchers we've lost out on. Never mind.
Did wordle in 4. Dishes to wash next after I've had a go at connections.
Just realised that apart from paid stuff I have absolutely no plans this week. Weird.Spend less now, work less later.6 -
My headache has cleared. Hurrah.
P & S have just left, and I pulled some bindweed out of the front garden before heading back indoors.
Just had a text to say the workman is en route to my house. Of course with it being so hot recently there's no water in the outside light fitting at the moment....but the rusty marks are evidence that there has been.
I've cut the dried out flower shoot (last year's) off my orchid. There's a new one sprouting. 😍
Let's get this workman's visit over with, then maybe I'll breathe a little.....

I love this thread too 😘 But I miss piggers xxIT ONLY TAKES SMALL DAILY ACTIONSFOR MAGIC TO HAPPENRosemary Ikpeme5 -
Hope Piggers is ok, probably just really busy now the holidays have started.
I have watered garden ,indoor plants and vases, washed up, hoovered heavy traffic areas and done some ironing. I've also cut some jeans into knee length shorts.
Going to relax now for the afternoon.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Thank you for the thread again. More hugs for Narc0. Hope Round is breathing easy now.
CoG, I am good at two types of flying - theoretical and procrastination flying. The procrastination version is my forte.
Today’s flying was limited to loading the wm before leaving for work. I didn’t turn it on, hang the washing out or bring it in. Delegation was key. I have emptied clean clothes from the airing cupboard to make way for today’s load though!
Long boring day at work. I dropped in to Mr W on my way home to pick up some treats for DD who is totally fed up. She has spent the day clearing out Stuff, I think that she is planning a drop off cs trip tomorrow.
Trying to muster up energy to cook dinner. It’s a one pan oven job, but I seriously cba right now.7 -
He was a very nice man and I now have a new outside light at the back door.
So that's three long standing 🐸s swallowed over the last few months: seized up shed lock replaced, leaking guttering sealed, and outside light replaced.
Next 🐸 is to get someone to supply and fit a handle to the door between LR and stairs.
I've written on the August birthday cards; read some magazines, and put them in the recycling, watered my hanging basket, and I'm now sat in my nightie in front of a fan, breathing.
Hugs to all.

I finished for the summer and away on Thursday morning x
I'm hoping to get as much done as I can as back on the 1st and away again on the 5th!!
I'll fill you all in soon xx
Love and hugs to all xx7 -
Thanks for all hugs. Visited Mum this morning and she seemed a little improved. Headed off for home, stopping in a Mr T coffee shop en route both to stock up on food and to have a brief 'handover' coffee with DB and SIL who are heading for Mum's. M25 very slow and hot.
Got home and watered greenhouse.
Haven't unpacked yet.
Made a list for tomorrow.
emailed financial man for another rearranged appt (was meant to be today); now tomorrow at 11.30.
Early night.
I hope your/As friend is improving CofG.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.7 -
Took the dog for a long walk somewhere near (very disappointing so we won't be going back there) instead of ironing so I've got that to look forward to tomorrow.
Better is good enough.6 -
Thanks @Honey_Bear and @Narc0lepsy H-B that's really kind - I'll let you know but I'm a bit unclear at the moment how things are. His nephew rang again today and he has definitely had a stroke but seems to be recovering. A took the call so I didn't get much info as he never thinks to ask the right questions!@Fayolle I'm with you there. I did, however, mange somehow to turn the theoretical into the actual today and not only cleaned the kitchen, including bleaching the sink and washing-up pad, and vacc'd around but also ironed the napkins we'd used for the lunch 12 days ago. Better late than never I say!I've been nearly cough-free all day (apart from when I first woke up) but just as I'm about to go to bed it's come back.7

Morning all. Looks like it's going to be another lovely day so I'll change the bedding and get washing up to date today.

Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.9
