Money Moral Dilemma: Should I go back to the supermarket that didn't charge me and offer to pay?

I would say yes, at least offer. I have always returned to pay for my errors (item left in trolley etc,) and I think this encourages the staff. Sometimes the charge has been waived but at least I did my bit.0

No, I've bought goods from various supermarkets that turned out to unfit for purpose but wasn't worth the hassle of returning so have part of this on me

I though this had happened to me when booked a show for about 100 Euros for us. But I later found I had inadvertently used a different credit card!

I tend to not believe this has happened its just mse storytime or the card will be billed at a later date but if it did happen I would go back until it didnt work and so would most of the people in the world .
No matter what they say online .
I have seen money come out of a ATM and heard it also happened to someone else.......but thats next weeks storytime .1 -
You have had the goods, and should pay for them.0

Wow, you lot are a lot more moral than me. I would have been like: Oh sweet, a freebie!!!!!0

Don't know if your credit company can advise / see it as 'pending' somewhere in the transaction ether. If not, I'd put your estimate of the cost aside for 6 months and if you aren't billed by then, make a donation to a food charity.0

"You have had the goods, and should pay for them."
Next weeks storytime is mine ....so mse is going to owe me bigtime .
Its about a atm that was well ..just giving ...well it gave out a hundred (only once) as I walked up to it .
Cant say I stayed around for the receipt and no card was ever used .
What should I do ......the guilt of paying my overdue £100 council tax this month is killing me ?

I had a similar issue a couple of years ago, but was told by the bank the company had up to six months to take the money from the account, so to leave the money to cover the bill in the account to avoid using an unauthorised overdraft. It was hard work working out my available money at first (plus I was a student at the time). Just be mindful and if nothing comes out in six months time and you are able donate to a food bank or charity,0

Of course not. Shrinking package sizes , massive price rises and staff less check outs. They make massive profits from you and me anyway0
