Well and I thought I was the only one🙈received a letter from klarna 11july saying final demand for account I didn’t open. Letter sent on the 8 July account opened on 21march. Called them and reported as identity theft and was going to forward to their fraud department. The check never came up on my credit check history when opened, TransUnion never recorded it and there’s the issue. Nothing from Klarna even though they had my address for 6wks. I emailed them and got standard we have you email speak later but they didn’t. Emailed again two weeks later with a more strongly worded email and they emailed me back asking me to speak with them. Well they hung me out to dry. Sent it to a debt management company in Liverpool without contacting me. Spoken to the debt company and they passed me all the account details and have suspended any action for 3 weeks. Not all credit checking apps work the same. Had to open advanced accounts to get more information on my credit check klarna did. Reported to Action fraud but they aren’t really interested but got a crime number. Now had to take out cifas account more money to secure against easy credit access. Made a complaint to klarna on how I was treated and requested all voice recording. Hope this helps others and sorry it was so long🙈👍3

We recieved one today, final demand for £585 to do with OnBuy.com. We have never used Klarna and never purchased from OnBuy.com. Rang Klarna and we were told its a scam letter and to send back to the address on the letter (Klarnas Credit Office in London). We wont be doing that and instead will keep full records of everything. Hoping thats the end of it as this is the first we have heard of any issue. Apparently our purchase was from 14/9/24. Interestingly if you put Klarnas customer service number into 'who called me' it says its a credit card scammer1
