  • Getting to the end of the month, coffee this morning £2.35 and a treat coffee and flapjack this lunchtime (£6.80) as I’m going swimming after work (£6.20) so need the extra energy.

I’ve done my budget for next month. Need to be strict with myself as I’ve got a few bits on my credit card from this month to pay off but I really want to avoid using it next month as I want the extra money to go towards Christmas in October.

I’m going to London on a date this weekend so that is something exciting. I think we will probably just go for a coffee, I may try to go and see a friend afterwards however he has been quite ill and is not replying to my messages at the moment. I’ve also got a trip to the cinema planned on Saturday using one of my members Picturehouse tickets. It’s for a film called The Outrun which I really enjoyed the book it’s based on. Then on Saturday evening I’ve got a big Tescos delivery coming. I have stocked up on various things like loo roll, coffee, tinned tomatoes and I’ve treated myself to some olive oil. It’s come to £90! I’m still eating out of the freezer and cupboards. At some point this will come to an end and I’ll have to do some cooking for the freezer.

    Hope everyone else is well.

Very excited, I’m picking up a coffee machine with a timer on tomorrow for FREE off the Olio app. What a luxury, to wake up to fresh coffee without the effort of making it! The lady giving it away says it works perfectly, I probably just need to clean it a bit. Also I can make two cups and take one to work in a thermos so I won’t have to buy one, saving me about £50/ month! I need a cup of coffee to get me through the dire first half of the morning! So pleased.

  • Got a free coffee with my stamp card yesterday. I picked up the free coffee machine at lunchtime and have just had a delicious coffee with it. It came in its original box, it’s from Asd@ and is a bit noisy but I think it’ll do the job. Also spent £18.95 on wool, oopsie!

  • Just been paid so a fair bit of spending. £4.80 on a jacket potato at lunch, about a fiver on a coffee for me and a work colleague. £8 on a talk in November which should be interesting at a museum near me. Going to have 2 x coffees tomorrow and a takeaway with a friend in the evening. Also I have knitting group in the afternoon. A busy bee.

  • Fair bit of spending yesterday. £3.49 Microsoft Office subscription, £6.40 Pret sandwich,  £18.00 train, £20.00 Oyster top up. A water on the way home, £2.49 that I don't recognise,  £20 on Vinted on the train on the way home, £14.00 taxi from the station as it was raining.

Also Netflix £10.99. Service charge today £141.06, TV £15, British Gas electric £78.42.

I spent £70 yesterday. The V!nted clothes and the taxi weren't budgeted for. Nor the Oyster card. Also £24 on food and drink for my friend who I visited later in the day who is sick and £3.80 on a Pret coffee at Liverpool St Station because I was early.

  • £2.35 on a double espresso at lunch. I took coffee in the morning from my coffee maker. It was in my flask that my sister got me for Christmas. It was very nice.

I also had to go to Asd@ after work. I spent £14 on stuff to make pesto which covers two meals. Not quite sure how I managed to spend that much but I do have leftovers like a massive bag of walnuts that I didn’t even open. Actually I bought a £7 tub of B()ld laundry liquid for the points so that’s why it was so expensive.

Better put my coffee on for the morning and maybe watch some tv.

  • Not managed to spend any money overnight or this morning.  I need to rebudget for this month and adjust the amount going in to my savings for this month. I want to get my bike serviced but that's about £100 so that may not happen. My new headphones arrived. I need to pair them with my phone. Gonna buy a coffee today (£2) as I'm tired. I slept 8 hours overnight. I'm tired and stressed about work though.

Just listening to the radio. I must stop texting in to request songs, I do it about twice a month which puts £1 on my phone bill. I have £45 on my Asd@ gift card and I need to get some stuff out of the freezer for the rest of the week. My mum never runs her freezer down but I think you have to. I heard things are only supposed to keep for about 3 months in the freezer. Macaroni cheese tomorrow after swimming I think. I've lost one stone! I feel so much healthier, I have blisters on my feet from walking all round London at the weekend. I want to lose three more stones but I'm happy at this weight so if it happens it happens, if it doesn't it doesn't. Will save me buying new clothes.
